Villain 'classes'

 

Above me is the link to the new outlines for villainy, I thought I'd give a look at it, see just how bad it really was. My response is this. 

 

Really?

 

You expect people to write paragraphs upon paragraphs and you can't even be bothered to write up a few definitions describing the evils from your own perspectives, to aid applicants in their potential acceptance?

 

This is extremely lazy. If anything this is a reflection of just how much I should put into my own app, a single sentence at that. The previous villainies were well described and thought out, Urasept made sure of that.

 

I can't take this seriously now, this is a joke, first impressions 3/10, needs more writing and thought put into it before you start judging others on their RP and character development.

Are you guys just bringing back everything that everyone hated or something? Because legit, nobody wants this. Having freedom of growth for characters and their teachings really helped the server. People could react as the character would in extreme sitations without people oocly stonewalling because the person doesnt have a VA.

 

Litterally, this is one of the stupidest things you could do. Why.

It was satire. I don't think someone whose immature and childish would understand that level of comedy. According to you, satire is now childish and immature and his poem clearly expressed his PENDING_RAGE. Perhaps we should all go "grow up", check our 401k's, vote in the upcoming election, and enjoy a soothing candle lit bath before lights out at 8:00 PM.

This isn't going to work that is honestly just the truth, the server has to much of a varid community for this to be effective.

Sure there are people who RP villains wrong but that is always going to be the case, you will have people accepted that had their friends make their apps that have no clue what they are doing. I have seen this so many times before all that this creates is grief to me it really doesn't matter, but sometimes you gotta set down the foot for your fellow RPers even though it's not your boat floating.

 

The truth is very simple, the community does not want this and it will just make people angry to know that this is back. 

 

It's funny cause the irony of it all is that i tried to get some Aegis veterans back to the server and they talked about how bad the VATs were, they were so happy to hear that they were gone since they love villain RP but i bet now they arn't coming back that is for sure.

       First, this is NOT Menerra's fault so quit putting the heat on her, this more than likely was an entire staff team agreement amongst the GM's and Admins.  

 

       Second, Apps wouldn't be needed if the community itself were self moderating and played by logic rather than have a 'I have to win' mentality.
 

       Third, moderation is ABSOLUTELY needed due to the prior statement above.

 

       Fourth, I believe this to be a proof that one takes the time and opportunity to positively write down and/or create (If you hadn't already) a /BACKSTORY/ to your character instead of having a random one with no logical reason to go around being psychotic and killing sporadically.

 

       Fifth, as the rest of the changes have been made, a phrase had always been used, 'Give it a chance'.

 

       Sixth, I believe this to decrease the amount of the 'mina or die' scenario's which in the first place were /never/ taken care of.

 

       There can be a whole bunch of good that can come out of this, if you all are too lazy to write up applications with logical and legit backstories to your characters then you shouldn't be out there trying to provide villainous or magical RP because each takes a good amount of responsibility and dedication to learn how to do so correctly.

 

       There is my two cents, come and attack me now, not the staff.. They've done their part to try and better the server, now it's time we do our part to cooperate.
