I haven't really read any posts prior to this so someone may have already brought this up, if so sorry and you can hide this comment. You say that poor villainy roleplay will be dealt with very harshly with one of the many options you stated in the original post. I am just skeptical about how this would work with newer players who may want to roleplay being a villain but lack server experience and may not be the best roleplayers, I know for sure I wasn't, so would these people be punished very harshly for trying out this type of roleplay and not being the best at? If so wouldn't this just make them feel bad about themselves and their ability to roleplay but alongside this also make some people quit playing altogether?

You want broad community's opinion? Make your posts easier to read: shorten them and change color - it is scientifically proved that brain instinctively avoids red color.

 

That is what must be changed first: staff attitude to ordinary players who they meet first time. Anything else goes second.

 

My view is that villain applications must be brought back. I can't imagine how you guys will be removing people from blacklists. You know, they grow up, they mature, they realize what fools they were before. Just like you, me, any of us. Only those who don't do anything don't commit mistakes. Additional "ban apps", just for villain roleplay? You don't want more bureaucracy, do you?

I did noot get one thing:

the black listing of bad villain rp. does that mean that the player is booted from the server or just that he or she is not aloud to play as a villain any more?

I belive that the reasonable thing to do would be just to tell them they cant rp as villains because of their lack of ability to do so.

Keep them. If players cannot be bothered to fill out an app as to why their char forfills those evil doings then those bad platypus' should not be able to perform villanous activities. Its not the staff being lazy its the players who complain.

I shouldn't need to fill out a ******* application to justify killing WHEN PROVOKED or being ordered to torture another villain for information or things along those lines.
