The Return Of The Rex

The Orcs huddle around a campfire at the Trog, a large boar is being roasted on a skewer as the Wargoths rest next to the raging fire, amongst them is Vrogak'Gorkil. The once legendary warrior, and Rex of the Orcs. 

 

 

The Wargoths confer on the matters of the Uzg as Vrogak silently stares into the sand beneath him and grunts loudly before roaring..

 

"Da Krugmahr Confedahraytun haz failed mi brudduhz, diz be da tym fuh chaynge. Fuh tuu lung da Ztowtz, da Umgoiz, da Albai blah da Urukz nubhozh. Mi brudduhz, gruk wat mi blah, diz bi da tym fuh chaynge.."

 

Vrogak digs his axe deep into the sand beneath him as he smacks his chest with his fist, roaring.

 

"Mi Brudduhz, mi nominate mi, Vrogak'Gorkil, az da Rehx uf da Urukz"

 

*He pulls his axe back out of the ground as he looks to the Wargoths around him*

Malog raises his staff, and nods at Vrogak's words, the many bones dangling from his ''clothes'' clacking together as he stands to speak, "Da urukz muzt bi unify'd iv wi am tu ztand. Mi wull zuppurt diz Vrogak, agh peep wub hi kan du. Et mey bi dat hi wull leed uz tu glureh. Kjaftur Krugu!"

Grogmar sighs heavily, not approving of a Rexdom after clearly setting out rules before leaving. Guess he has to break the nation again! zzz....

I highly advise keeping the way it is, allow the council of clan leaders to lead and don't bring back the rexdom. It doesn't work, as simple as that and if you think it will by Arteh returning, then simply remember that it failed when he returned last time. Instead of fighting against change (which I know you do) how about embracing it for a bit, as the norm has been failing time and time again. Either way, welcome back Arteh.

I never actually returned. Positions were given to me without actually asking me how much time I could dedicate, I'm at University, but now I'm not because Summer & my exams are over.

Your rules are only enforced while you're Rex. I spoke with all the Wargoths, they all said that the system was not working. I spent 15 minutes with each one, asking them and discussing it and they all agreed saying the Wargoth Council was not working.

((The clan confederacy died the day after it was instituted. Activity dropped like a rock, and the Azogs and Drakehaze left as soon as they had set it in place. 

 

Rexdom might not work when there's a poor leader,  but at least when there's good ones we thrive, whereas Clan Council doesn't work no matter what.))
