Franz chuckles lightly as he receives this word. "We'll see if this 'grand army' is better than the last two!" He would then fold the piece of paper and neatly file it in his stack of paper work. "Glad to see it takes them nearly a year to respond to anything now a days."

As Jace Bracchus remains in captivity, he says a quick prayer for this conflict to be resolved with minimal bloodshed once he hears of the royal response to the Adrian Rebellion.

"Merciful Creator, may Your will be done. Shine through our foolish mortal ways and bring about peace for the realm."

Bjorn would frown while reading over the declaration "They abducted and beat my son, completely ignoring our wish of neutrality. The Crown seemingly wished for more enemies and their wish was granted."

"Huh I guess they'll count Garrisons not sallying out of their castles that were built to literally deter raids of that sought to meet their forces as victories while losing forces to arrow fire as victories. I long for an open field battle to test their mettle." says Bryce hearing of the official royal response

August Hightower shakes his head in disappointment, "A king who assassinates his high officials and nobles and raids and butchers the innocent of the towns then calls their remaining kin to lay down arms and swear to a crown which knows no justice and seeks no peace, this is not a nation of righteousness- it is a den of snakes."

Vlad the Black chuckles upon reading the King's response.

"They forget who spearheaded the many victories of the Schism War. They are fools for believing they can defeat Adria on the open battlefield. King Olivier and his retinue are little more than snakes who will burn in hellfire for what they have done to this nation."

Late one rainy evening, Constantine receives a letter from his squire. He opens it on his desk, grunts, and states to the waiting squire, "A king who cares more for his wife's parties than he does for the stability of the realm is no king of mine. The Crown, it seems, has forgotten that it receives its power from the nobility, not the other way around. The Crown, and the person who's head it rests upon, is simply the first among the equals. Without the support of Oren's nobility, the Crown rules naught but dust. Ave Adria, Ave Sarkozic." Constantine then files the letter away, dismissing the squire and standing to warm his hands by the fire. "War's obnoxious though," he mutters, before snuffing the fire out with a flick of his wrist and stomping towards his bed.

"More shabbily built Adrian crafts to be sunken!"

"You burned some sails and ran off! How very clever and brave of you, I'd reward you with the 'dwarf tier' medal if I had one." Dagr would say this, simply helping with the immediate construction of the boat.

Eric Sarkozic scoffs at the prospect, "The idle king finally speaks after a year; our cause is just, this is just banter. He brought the Vanirs upon himself by attacking in cold blood."
