I never really gave up on LOTC from IC stuff but rather when I realized that every minute that I spent IG was stuff that I could have been doing IRL. 

I feel like that's a pretty bad way to look at things.

Most things you do in your life aren't working towards a successful future. You do a lot of things because you like them and they are fun and they make you happy. Just because you could be like... Studying stock market trading just incase, doesn't mean the other thing is bad. Y'know?

Also, the server gives what you put in. If you aren't having fun, it's probably your fault.
