[OOC] High Elf Feedback!

Is this a thing now? The orcs made it a thing. I've decided its a thing. Some notes before you begin;

• Open the gate is not valid feedback :(
• Make the walls easier to jump over is not valid feedback :((

There's nothing wrong with North Korea, friendo. Some RP just isn't for everyone. Oh, and I feel like the high elven characters all follow the same three archetypes (White elf supremacists, cynical scientists or pro wizarding sorcerors!) which is a turn-off.

EDIT: Of course, there are deviations from these archetypes but I don't really know of that many. Speaking of haelun'or high elves btw (all non-haelun'or helves are false)

^ This, and unlike other races, high elves haven't seem to have changed/adapted over time. Humans, orcs, and dwarves have all had a different environment and way of doing things under different people, but I don't see any variance whatsoever in who's running the High Elves and what goes on in their city. Your current style of rp appeals to a fair amount of people, and that's great, but some change every once in a while would work wonders, in my opinion, at least.

High Elf society feels like and looks like a weird inbred utopia/dystopia love child. You thrive on conflicts to resolve (mainly internal affairs since gate closed) but then you run out of conflicts and it feels weird since you have nothing to be superior to when everything is calm sailing and ultimately ends up being boring to RP within. A greater good or overarching goal would be helpful, maybe with a scientific slant or something.

I know you said no "be less snooty's", but it really is a big turn off to anyone wanting to have some rp

I know people say rp in haelun'or is pretty cool, but it seems like every high elf is just so stereotypically unemotional and ignorant. It just gets to the point where you know exactly how any interaction with a high elf will go so you just avoid it all together, because why deal with a 20-minute annoyance when you can just walk around it? Seriously, though. Just don't be so unemotional when you rp. How can that be fun?

I find that high elves are more fun when you play a character more inline with theirs. Personality traits generally are like that.
