The server's Population

So i registered back in July, and when i used to play here, this server had around 350 - 400+ players online on peak hours. But nowadays the highest i've seen was 150. What happened?

People come and go. When I joined the server in June there was the rare chance I couldn't get on due to the amount of players on the server at the time. Also, the server has peaks and downfalls. Eventually I bet there will be a time when the server juts back up like that. Also don't forget that school has started so not everyone can be on as much as they used to in say, July.

Screw the population. I think 150 is fine.

How about a new map that isn't so freaking huge and hard to find RP in!? :D

no?...okay.

> ******* the map is too small and they want bigger map > six months later "we need a smaller map." It's not the map that's the issue here, everyone has a different idea of what LOTC should be. New players would feel more welcome if they didn't get **** on by player groups they try to join, but hey, activity is also down because of the fact that lots of people burn out of rp or get too busy to keep playing. It's a taxing experience here, if I didn't have so much free time to rp when I get home from practice/school I wouldn't be playing much if at all too lol

Joined in Aegis, and I don't think the player cap has ever been above 300.

The number of people on the forums has definitely tanked hugely, the server amount never got over 300 though so idk what you're on about there.

This man speaks the truth. The heighest ive seen was in anthos averaging like 200+ people. The server has changed and gradually lost people through time. I personally believe it started since exodus #1 in anthos when a **** ton of human players left the server.

I mean i remember Felsen having a ton of people in it.

That was at the start of Vailor and due to a civil war that broke out between the human nation and a merc group the players that RP'd there were constantly being killed/robbed, causing them to ditch the city or the server.

It, again, isn't the map size, but rather how many settlements exist. :p

This is true. However, the amount of settlements could translate loosely into a psuedo version of overall size. There's too many places to go where you would expect RP but find none.
