Iatrilemar is one of the strongest mages to be fair. What with being able to shift away from attacks, block and bash with a magic shield and blast things away. He is a nimble, high impact mage.. However mages have too many weaknesses to be considered the strongest character. Coren Isil or Adeon to my experience are two incredibly powerful peeps.
