To my dearest citizens and fellow close friends. I have spent many a year in Haelun’or, close to seventy years now. Through these years I have come to grow fond of these walls, not just the walls but the people as well. Through its hardships and good fortune I have weathered, but as all good things, my time here is fleeting. The call for new blood has been heard as my position has grown stagnant. I have enjoyed my time as a Tilruir’mali and felt I have been a beacon of purity among its citizens. I felt pride in my work and I hope many of you looked up to me as something to strive for. But without a doubt my time has come, a time to let another strive and be a new beacon with new ideas. And so with the greatest of happiness in hope for the future of the State, I Tilruir’mali Riondil Seni step down from my position. Maehr'sae Hiylun'ehya my fellow Mali’aheral.

Roland of Aardwen grumbles upon hearing this announcement. He turns to his fellow Marked men.

"Fowkin' necromantic shites keep comin' back. Maybe we can put him down for good, now that he's out o' the elfling spotlight."

The Silver Titan would arch a brow at such sudden news, as Riondil left the stage, he'd stand and offer salute. Expecting his men to do the same, he would then clear his throat.
"A great Tilruir, your time in office will be remembered." He looks about the present Sillumir until his gaze falls upon one shrowded by the shadow of a mighty helm, to which he nods "It's time." Mordew would then turn to face the crowd "I nominate Kelthran for Tilruir'mali!" He'd announce, before nodding once more to the helmed guard and marching out, allowing his men to follow in line.

Soren slowly turns to Wyndellen as the news reaches the two of them. With a raise of the eyebrow, Soren would point a finger on each hand towards his friend, a smile creeping onto his face. He lets out a quiet "Ayyyy," to which his friend simply replies with his usually pensive and blank expression. Soren would gesture once more, this time with more vigor and a louder "Ayyyy." Wynd then sighs, shrugging to Soren before turning off.

"The Golden King, by virtue of his gross impurity and disregard for our kind and our system finds himself accepting his challenge. Thus, it is the duty of any pure elf to oppose him. Oem Taeleh Elibar'acal finds himself in the running anew".

"If my running would encourage the well-liked terrorist Taeleh to run, I retract my acceptance of the nomination put forth by Mordew..."

Kelthran idly shrugged.

"...and nominate Apollo."

A helmed elf walks into the center of Haelun'or. He appears as a Sillumir by his helm, though he dons different clothing, blue and black robes of an elf whose path has clearly led him beyond the walls of the Silver City. He smiles to Kelthran, delivering the elf a curt nod of appreciation. "Today, elves of Haelun'or, I accept my nomination. As of late, I have used the name Apollo, but this is not the first name I've used within these blessed halls."

With this, he brings up his hands, raising his helm off of his head. "I am Laethis Izalith, mali'aheral of Haelun'or, and I accept my nomination."

He pauses, glancing around the audience before him, the golden hair of Apollo once more the shining white of Izalith. Though his face is disfigured, marred in scars, one might be able to tell that it is indeed the same elf. "I will save my words for when it is time to debate in earnest. Yet now, I shall make my plea to you, people of Haelun'or. We sit within a period of stagnation, when under my rule we saw progress and liveliness within these halls. Now we see the Golden Owls in power, who call upon assistance of the godly and pervert themselves with their opposition to the mages of Haelun'or."

"If I am elected, Haelun'or shall be a city safe for mages once more. It shall be free of those who seek to hamper the power of mages in Haelun'or. Our Council will not revert to rule by practitioners of dark arts, nor those who pervert themselves against the blessings magic has brought to Haelun'or. We shall return to the heights we have seen not so long ago."

"And because I am sure this shall come up, I will gladly do whatever I must to make myself an eligible candidate. If I am to be put on trial for my supposed crimes fools so readily reference, then so be it; there is no evidence to back their claims. I intend to run lawfully within this system, such that Haelun'or can prosper once more."

The elf steps back in wait, seeing if the Golden Owl would dignify him with a response.

"Hrmph. So many changes." Ësgaleth muses, frowning as she idly taps her fingers on the tea cup. "I must admit - Riondil was a stubborn Tilruir'mali. He dug through my things and eventually found those projects."

"The Golden King and the Murderer show their faces, and not just alone but two by two. What a curious occasion— though, in truth, perhaps I should not be surprised. After all, it is only sensical that the servant would try to avenge his master with his little attempt at becoming a "Golden King".

Taeleh would draw his golden blade, moving to inspect it. Pacing along the ground.

"Curse me, you may, for holding this blade of Brightsteel and Aurum. Curse me for daring defile myself with Gold. And yet... I do so by choice. For it represents that which must be done. It represents the cursed act of having to cleanse Haelun'or of the impure which cover the halls as dung cakes the grass in a cow's wake. "

"It is you! You who would dare slaughter your opponent simply for power! You who would attempt to slay me for merely opposing your corrupt regime."

Taeleh would suddenly raise his voice:

"The blood of the pure lies upon your hands!"

"The Mali'aheral of Haelun'or cast aside your corrupt regime and your puppets! They cast aside your vile ways and your endorsements of the ice maidens who devoured our own! They cast aside your impurity so great that your own relative would scorn you!"

"The Children of Silver shall not deign their halls with your presence, vile elf— if so you are even worth such a title. It is Larihei who would spit upon you, and it is you who shall answer for your crimes."

Thesseus grins, raising a fist in agreement with his kin.

"Taeleh, he referred to himself as a Sun King. With a Gold Crown. Eh.. Maybe my old ears are just hearing things wrongly.." Cecil mutters

The elf scoffs at Taeleh's remarks, amusement plain upon his face. He folds his hands behind his back, indulging himself in a few moments of evident disapproval before finally presenting his retort.

"A murderer, you say? Is ordering the execution of a plotting elf as Sohaer to be deemed murder now? A plotting elf who sought to rid Haelun'or of its mages by the end of his sword? For if this is murder, I will gladly bare the title you bestow upon me."

"Of course, you must deem me a murderer. For if you did not, then it would be impossible to ignore the charges laid against you as the second member of this egregious plot. But by branding me an unjust murderer, you necessarily forgive your part. You can claim that you refused to stand trial among an unbiased group of parir'tiran because I would just kill you anyways. That you never sought to end the presence of mages in Haelun'or. That you did not seek to abuse your family for your own personal gains."

"If I am the Murderer, then you are the Deceiver."

"The Deceiver, a would-be mage slayer, seeking to ascend to a position on the Council. Myself a murderer, because I swung my blade before my elven kin could be harmed. He brands me falsely to obfuscate his agenda, but it is my hope the wise of Haelun'or will see. We are a nation built upon the backs of mages, and it is time we reject you and your ilk for your true intentions."

"I have more to say, but I will allow my opponent his opportunity to speak once more. But simply, I conclude that any seeking to become a mage in Haelun'or, come to me. We need more mages in Haelun'or."
