I - A Pact of Mutual Defense

 

The City-State of Celein pledges military aid to the Dominion of Malin should the Dominions lands ever come into threat. The City State pledges not to align itself with enemies of the Empire of Oren or the Dominion of Malin

 

The Dominion of Malin pledges military aid to the City State of Celein should the City State’s lands ever come into threat, provided it does not entail conflict with nations allied to the Dominion.

 

II - Jurisdictory Trials and Extradition

 

The City State of Celein pledges to extradite any Celein citizen to the King and Councillors of the Dominion should said citizen have committed any of the following crimes on Dominion land:

• Assault (self defense exempt)
• Murder (self defense exempt)
• Thievery
• Deliberate public slander*
• Any activity associated with Xionist cults
• Any activity associated with other forms of dark magic

 

The Dominion of Malin pledges to extradite any Dominion citizen to the Hierarch and Councillors of the City-State should said citizen have committed any of the following crimes on Celein land:

• Assault (self defense exempt)
• Murder (self defense exempt)
• Thievery
• Deliberate public slander*
• Any activity associated with Xionist cults
• Any activity associated with other forms of dark magic

 

*Public slander entails a public affront to either state’s traditions or culture, with a conscious, deliberate attempt to stir dissent or to cause a scene. Passive states of existence such as being an arcanist or an ‘impure’ mali’aheral will not be considered public slander unless said individuals actively seek to undermine their allied state’s ways.
