Throughout Vailor, posters are hung up, penned in elegant hand-writing with fine silver ink. A plethora of them are repeatedly hung at the Cloud Temple Docks, in case of pesky poster-removers.

To All Who Guide Mages

As the title of this poster suggests, I seek out those who guide mages, wizards, sorcerers, runesmiths, golemancers or other users of magical practice. Whether you are the head of a school of magic, a lone teacher with a smattering of students, or one who controls a number of other magic users, it is my desire to arrange a meeting.

Though I shall keep my narrowed intent to myself for the time being, understand that this is not some missive from a would-be mage begging you for tutelage. On the contrary, I am a mage as you are, seeking to improve our place in this world and ensure our safety.

If you wish to meet, there is a golem at the Cloud Temple Docks with silver bands around its wrists. Deliver it a missive with instructions on where I can find you, or how you wish to meet, and it shall convey them to me. Proof of your status is ideal, though not necessary for a meeting to be arranged.

I hope to hear from many soon.

Regards,

The Silver Sun

P.S. This is neither an attempt at recreating a Mages Guild, nor tied with any nation. On the contrary, I am a lone individual seeking to meet leaders of mages.

Lhindir would grin as he looks the poster over,  going off the write a note and deliver it to the golem.

Lotha tilted her head at the notice and shrugged. She went about her way to write a note, her curiosity peaked.

Lanavia arched a brow as her mossy eyes scanned the poster. She'd lift a thin hand to her chin to lightly tap it as she debated what to do. It would take but a moment for the woman to roll her shoulders in a shrug and walk off to pen her letter and deliver it.

Reading upon the notice posted he watches over as the men and women hand notices towards the golem with a tilt of his head he would follow suit and begin to do the same, giving a sly nod looking the golem over.

"What have I got to loose?" he would speak in a way that doesn''t need to be answered nor would the golem speak to him.

Giving the golem the note of reguards towards the meeting, it states.

"I am upon a mage of a telekenetic nature who'll wish to attend this meeting if no harm is promised upon us all. You can find me by sending a raven towards the calaphate avairy to which I seek daily. Write the message towards 'Carpenter' thank you.

Jovas Carpenter"

A good little druid starts putting up her own tiny notes under the posters whenever she finds one.

"Magic is bad. Don't corrupt yourself."

Haadi wrote a big fat NO on the bottom of one of the posters.

A smelly vagabond posts additional little notes at the bottom of all the posters:

"It has come to my attention that you may be attempting unauthorized use of copyrighted work entitled The Mage's Guild, founded by the Arcane Mage Slayer (the "Work") in the preparation of a work derived therefrom. I have reserved all rights in the Work, which was first published in Aegis, pre-1350 in the far North Eastern Spruce Forest, just south of Winterfell. Your work entitled Vague and Spooky Requests for Mage Teachers and which appears all over Vailor seems to be an attempt to create an essentially identical work to the Mage's Guild and if so, clearly used The Mage's Guild as it's basis. You neither asked for nor received permission to use the Mage's Guild as the basis for Vague and Spooky Requests for Mage Teachers nor to make or distribute copies of it. Therefore, I believe you have willfully infringed my rights under 17 A.M.G.A.F.P.O.M.G.R Section 101 et seq. and could be liable for statutory damages as high as 150,000 minas as set forth in Section 504(c)(2) therein. I demand that you immediately cease the use and distribution of all infringing works derived from The Mage's Guild, and all copies, including paper and magical copies, of same, that you deliver to me, if applicable, all unused, undistributed copies of same, or destroy such copies immediately and that you desist from this or any other infringement of my rights in the future. If I have not received an affirmative response from you by Harvest's End indicating that you have fully complied with these requirements, I shall consider taking any and all legal remedies available to rectify this situation. The Mage's Guild's last remaining legitimate members do not wish the good name of the Mage's Guild to be further sullied by Vague and Spooky Requests for Mage Teachers or any other organizations thereof which may or may not seek to duplicate and infringe upon The Mage's Guild.

Sincerely,

Aegis Mage's Guild Archmages for Protection of Mage's Guild Reputation.

P.S. To all external observers, considering the previous fake and infringing incarnation which claimed, falsely, origins in The Mage's Guild, and the current off-shoot of said fake and infringing work, both exist on the lands of Celein, demonstrating a desire to centralize sources of magic and magic teachers at said location, and the fact that the only non-Dwarven origins of Golems come from either Haelun'or or Celein, and the fact that Haelun'or would likely not ever seek outside mages for any reason, one can easily assume that the source of these notes is probably someone on Celein. Happy hunting."

The notice is reposted after being removed. Whoever is doing it must be a fast writer, and probably has nothing better to do.

Any adulteration made to the posters is promptly removed, with a notice added to the bottom of each poster.

A sorcerer seethes, cringing. He brings his gloved hands together, groaning.

"No. NO. It's a trap!"

Just now, ArcanicFable said:

A sorcerer stands beside this sorcerer and echoes his words.

"No, no, it's a trap!"

Kypris simply hums as she reads over the poster. A distasteful look takes over her visage, forming a frown. "I hope this is worth the while." With that she'd soon head off.

Ennulia looks over the poster, giving a little chuckle at the good little druid's mark left on the poster, writing under it on one of them, "You've got that right."

A random non-mage passes by and over hears the the calls of a trap before going to check out the poster. "Yeah that sounds like a trap alright." He then goes and writes a missive with directions to the ruin of Skyfall before wondering if anyone is actually dumb enough to follow it.

".. An unwanted attempt to bring our kind to safety, that which we do not require. Yet, you ought to be honest with those whom you seek to 'aid', for as obscuring your true objectives only furthers my inquiries about the credibility of this event. Perhaps it is anew, some lonely being with naught but a necessity to waste another's time."

A mali'aheral commented with another beside her as a darkened visage scanned the scarce parchments, skeletal limbs reaching forth to allow curled digits upon the notice, simply tugging it off the broken wall it no longer remained upon. Anew, a distant gaze examined the poster for naught but a moment before merely crumbling it beneath a trembling grip, throwing it aside; alas, continuing forth a worn path.
