It's funny to think that I haven't not been on a staff team for over a year now. I joined the Event Team as a builder back in June of 2015 where I stayed for about 6 or 7 months. I got to work with some amazing people, and build amazing things. Often I'd build with Pandann on his projects, and him being GM Lead at the time; I thought I'd make a Trial GM app to see how I could further help the server.

 

I was then interviewed for the position a month after I had put the application up, it went well and I ended up getting the position. I began to learn new things and see the server in a different light to what I had seen it as before. I got to work with once again more amazing people, do amazing things, and help people. I've been on the team for about 5 or 6 months now, and it's went by pretty fast. However as of recently I haven't really been feeling as happy on the team as I used too, and I've been thinking about the feeling on and off for a while now - even before 5.0 came out. Thusly I've decided that it would be better off for me if I were to leave the team. It's not the fact that I don't want to do any work, or that I'm getting burned out; because I enjoy what I do as a GM - listening to the community and making sure that their voice is heard within the higher ups. Hell, I even enjoyed building the small lockpicking districts around each city and gathering information on how they should be implemented.

 

It really was fun working on the team, I got to meet so many new people and I also got to help out the community - whether it was through modreqs or making sure that their opinions were heard by the rest of the GM Team. Although I can't really explain why I feel unhappy currently - I'd like to revisit the server not as a GM, but as a player. I'll of course still be playing - I just won't have the GM Tag beside my name.

I've never donated to the server or anything like that, and don't have the ability to rename things, give things descriptions without my GM Pex. Therefore August's Boots will also be closing and coming to it's end. Nobody wants to buy a plain pair of boots. August will still continue his roleplay, but he just won't be selling boots anymore.

There's not really much else to say! Other than, hopefully my time spent off of the team will make me a little bit happier again as I play on the server.

[Did you get the title? Cause like, "A Boot" sounds like "About" if you say it in a Canadian accent, and, I'm not selling boots anymore, or going to be on the GM team anymore? Hopefully you got it.]

Tho be serious, i'm really sorry you retire from gm position however, i'm happy becouse you will rp much more again! I believe you did a great job and the whole server can say a "thank you" to you :)
