Smaw 2376 Share Posted January 16, 2017 A View from Stargush'Stroh Kharak'Raguk slowly rose from his throne, taking in the surroundings of his stygian cave in a brief moment of silent contemplation. He looked to the lengthy paintings that spanned the grey walls, detailing the moments in his mortal life that had lead to his ascension. And then, he looked to the remaining space within the cave; It was empty, devoid of his kin and of any significance. Only the shadows clung to the walls, looming over him as a reminder of his own solitude. In all of his pursuits he had sought to protect his people, but had driven himself further from them. And so, for the first time since his death, Kharak emerged from his home within Stargush'Stroh, making his way across the vast and varied realms of the Spirits in search of his brethren. His feet sunk into the verdant grass that spanned the field in a wave of emerald, and as he looked out upon the endless horizon he saw an enormous conglomeration of Orcs all huddled around eachother. An unusual emanation of blue light seemed to pulsate from within the centre of the group, and with intrigue, Kharak approached with haste. He stopped just before the group, who were interlocked at the shoulders in an enormous circle as they all attempted to push further inward. A vast congregation of colourful bodies meshed together in pursuit of whatever it was that seemed to be at the centre of the gathering. Kharak pressed on, determined to find out what the fuss was all about. After hours of struggle, he pushed through the bodies to the light in the centre of the gathering. A glimmering pool sat within the centre of the field which Krug himself stood over in a posture of incomparable power and confidence, bearing down a grin upon the pool. Within its reflection, the mortal realm presented itself in all of its majesty. In it was the sight of the Orcish Krughai, who stood with their allies against the defeated Orenian Empire. Kharak's heart began to swell with pride as he looked upon the defiant gathering of Orcs, who had persisted in the face of such large adversity. He rose his arms, interlocking with the rest of the group as they cheered with delight, watching onward to their brothers and sisters. The Orcs were free. OOC: So yeah, another leaving post. I've noticed recently that my passion for the server has waned increasingly, and I find myself barely logging into the server any more. I think it's time for me to move on and find something else to occupy my mind. I've reached a time in my life where I need to concentrate more on me, and on achieving my career and personal growth goals. I may return at some point down the line, but I doubt it will be for any particularly lengthy period of time. Perhaps to see the new map, or how the Orcs are in six months time. To the Orcs: I was intent to stick around until you were more settled and even though I may have been utterly useless in more recent times, I am proud to have witnessed you all push through these trying times and remain true to the lore and to your reasoning for making an Orc. I wish I could have done more for you during my own time as the Rex, but I know you are in safe and reliable hands with the current leadership. To the leadership, each and every one of you have earned my respect, and although we may have not seen eye to eye all of the time, I am confident in you all to lead the Orcs into an age of prosperity I could not manage myself. I will forever be available to you through Skype, if you at all need my knowledge or insight. However, my relevance has faded and I am impressed with your combined interest in preserving what I consider to be the most beautiful race on the server. To the MAT: Please do something to introduce Shamanism back into the Orc Nation. I urge you to allow two people to self-teach for each sub-type of Shamanism with OOC guidance. If you need my insight, I am more than happy to help through Skype and oversee anything. To the GM & LT/Event Team: I apologise for our past grievances, and the way in which I spoke about you. Please understand that my insufferable attitude came from a place of passion, from where I genuinely wanted to help improve the server and the aspects of it which were lacking. Peace out. Guest Share Posted January 16, 2017 I won't claim you and I got along or even that you really know who I am but just know I looked on you favorably. I hope you're doing well with whatever it is that you aspire to do now that you've left adolescence behind, if you'd ever like to have a conversation sometime I'm around and just know that all the things you've done on this server haven't been for nothing, I've no doubt the orc community respects your contributions. Peace.

Golin'Dar 151 Share Posted January 16, 2017 A scruffy old goblin would sigh over and over. Nothing will make sadness leave his ugly grimace, no tears or masks can cover it. He wish he could leave with Kharak, become a glorious spirit, but however, he does not deserve it. He does not deserve nothing but an endless suffering from wandering the spirit realm, seeking for truth and ancient power. ((welcome to the club, comrade))

Harri 4815 Share Posted January 16, 2017 Never really knew you, but you worked hard as **** to deliver the Orcs from "HUR DUR PVP SHINIEZ" to a nation that did actual RP, and built the foundations for good Orc RP that we have today. Take care.
