Roswell-Baden-Halcourt Declaration

 

  Let it hereby be known throughout the lands of Tahn and Asul that the houses of Roswell, Baden and Halcourt hereby declare all treaties, oaths and vassalages annulled. Due to House Staunton’s repeated crimes against it’s people due to it’s criminal negligence, mishandling and ruin of the once great Kingdom of Courland

 

   King Joseph I Stauntons madness has gone on for too long, the loyal vassals of the Kingdom ridiculed time and time again to appease lesser lords greed. The placating has run amok and made the Kingdom as a whole look weak, incapable and decadent in its own misery.

 

   The selling of their vassals land without their permission, surrender to a rebellion after merely one battle, pardoning criminals and traitors has forced the triumvirate of unified Houses under House Roswell  to finally declare their new liege Lord, HIS IMPERIAL MAJESTY, John V Frederick of the House of Horen, by the Grace of God, Holy Orenian Emperor, Forever August, Apostolic King in Oren, of Renatus, Salvus, Seventis, Vandoria, Savoy, Aesterwald, and Telemar, Defender of the Faith, Supreme Protector of Mankind, Prince of Alstion, Duke of the Crownlands, Cascadia, Avar, Count of Johannesburg Alamar, Thesmer, and Thelen, and Sovereign of Humanity.

Ariana Halcourt laid in her bed, squeezing her eyes shut as she heard of this news. She'd have but no choice but to follow for her father, Prince Frederick Baden, and her husband, Jacques Halcourt, wanted this done. She'd slowly sit up on her bed, looking out of her window, her knees hugged close to her chest. "I'm scared" she mutters softly.
