Server Rules Rewrite

Hello everyone,

 

I am proud to present to you the new LotC server-wide rules. This project has been made possible by the initiative of @Lark and @Danny. The duo and their work are an outstanding example of community involvement and taking action for the betterment of our server. With their help cutting down wordiness, and with proofreading from our staff, I have written a new set of rules from scratch. Please make sure to give them your thanks!

 

Our goal is to make the rules as clear and concise as possible. No boring trudge and no spaghetti over your eyes. Just a quick comprehensive read.

And I like how it's more than one player now. People wonder why crime and villainy RP are dead when they're basically completely banned by everything being considered a raid. If you and just one friend break the law at all, you're now raiding and can be banned if there's a cooldown from an actual raid. You flick open a chest? Stealing, you're raiding. You piss off a guard and he attacks? Raid-baiting, you're raiding. You "cause chaos"(???)? You're raiding.

 

Of course it won't be enforced like that most of the time at least, but it just gives the leeway that can and will be used for target-banning, like we saw when Supremacy banned half the Dunamis for taking from "free stuff" chests while on a diplomatic mission in Felsen.

The fact it had to be made a rule disturbed me, like seriously, how the hell do you **** a lich. It falls under common sense, imo.

You need to make the number of players needed to turn a rp battle into a pvp battle higher than 8, because if not you can't defend a raid with 4 attackers without start pvp or defending with 1 person less.
