What is your philosophy on life?

We're all genetically programed to believe a sense of reality but our brains are also genetically programed to be unable to comprehend what reality truly is so we just simply call it life.

Life consists not in holding good cards but in playing those you hold well.

"Life is short, live it to the fullest." ~C.T

I'm a very religious person, so whenever I get down or depressed I pray. That's what helps me to feel safe. I'm sure other people have their ways, but that's just my own. Anyhow, my philosophy is quoted above. Life is very short, indeed. I've had to deal with a bunch of deaths in my family within the past two years. When I look at someone and see that they're taking their last breath, it saddens me. It saddens anyone with a heart, probably. It keeps me up late at night just caught up in my thoughts of, "I'm going to die someday, but life will carry on..." and it really just appears really different to me than it would some people.

TL;DR- just read it.

There's your mushy paragraph for today.

Life is a wave, one that does not discriminate as we are all one with everything that surrounds us, we are not spectators in the play of life but we are actors. We are not pebbles pulled by the current of life but we are the drops of water.

Many western philosophies make it seem that the universe has an order, a supreme being that rules above (The trinity to Christians, Jewish YAHWEH, ect) Then we are told that we are stewards, this puts us in a position where we look down on nature and strove to control it, we build spiraling masses of concrete and iron upon beautiful valleys and carve down mountains. We are taught that nature is 'unpure' and we need to control it. That our natural desires are against out well being even though they are what keep us going. We need to see that we are not 'stewards' of nature but we are part of the great wave. We need to see that maybe tearing down and building what we DESIRE is not the best way. We are all one with nature, actors in its play and we are even made up of the same stuff as the blades of grass that we mow and trample upon.

Don't be a *****, and tell whoever is a ***** to you to piss off.
Chill and let life go wherever, there's no point in trying to figure out the future.
Don't take anything too seriously, laugh **** off.

Life is short, so kick back and enjoy the ride.

Also, everything will run it's course. There's always a solution, we just haven't found them.

Some things are shitty, yes, but remember things have always been worse and things are actually getting considerably LESS shitty when you look at history

Humanity might end, but I doubt it'll end soon simply because there have been countless times we've been faced with seemingly certain death, and we've pulled through. The human spirit prevails surprisingly well.

I hate to quote Karl Marx, but people are born social. If we give up interaction, friendship, and of course empathy, are we still human? Help people out, it's your duty as a human.

Also

Life is precious, and you only get one as far as we know. So respect your own and respect other peoples'

Sometimes I like to think everything is a cycle. There are so many cycles around us, it's hard to think there might not be. Anything that seems like a problem eventually runs its course. Overpopulation will end in poverty and suffering, yes, but it will also end in a new beginning with far less people and a clean slate. Problems cleanse and make way for success. Most Golden Ages follow a dark age (Or visa versa). Bottom line; It's always darkest before the dawn.

When you die, your life will flash before your eyes. Don't make it a boring thing to watch.

Yeah. I have a lot of world views.
