Sons of Jornheim

Let it be known that henceforth, the lands of Jornheim do hereby declare independence from the Grand Kingdom of Urguan.

The Grand King, Gror Ireheart, has betrayed the trust of the common people, he has turned a blind eye to our problems and has focused on his self-serving ambitions in the south. He has bowed to the Orenian Emperor with glee as if he were one of those pretty heartlander lords. He wishes to bask in their glory, as Axios bleeds. It is copiously clear he is no king fit to rule our people. Gror has shown acts of wanton dishonour, handing over his wife to be slaughtered by his overlord, the Emperor, while declaring war on an ally who has been faithful in upholding their end of the bargain. Curse the name of this treacherous coward, who hides behind his new overlord’s army and levies war in his name.

Gror’s pathetic attempt at an alliance is a blatant attempt to undermine the authority of the Frostbeards in Jornheim. We seek not war but peace and unity of our kind, of all dwedmar, yet he besmirches our name as if we were little more than dogs. Yet, at least we pursue reconciliation and work towards a better future, while he sits under our city of squalor with mead in his hand and a feast of twelve for himself. He commands our legions to march on foreign lands distant from our grand halls and cities on behalf of Oren. An enemy who has sought our race’s extinction for centuries.

We leave with our lands that were acquired independently of the Grand Kingdom and as such have always been under our independent control. I call for likeminded fellow dwarves who look for change, who look for a prosperous dwarven nation to help us move forward into creating that image. Declare against our tyrannical ‘king’ who swears loyalty to the Emperor.

If there is any honor left in our people, you will see in favour of the ways and paths of which we are headed and will follow and echo my statement.

Signed,

Garrond 'Urkbane' Frostbeard, The Resurgence, Reaper of Spiders, The Iceborn and Clan Lord of the Frostbeards, Son of Ice and Stone

Verthaik II Frostbeard, Military Clan Elder

Tepah is very confused. Cause the frostbeards signed the treaty independently anyway. Not one to stay to focused though he would go back to women and stealing.
