Spoiler

Rumours would spread over Axios, of the clerical leader who seemed to vanish from the face of the realm. No one had seen her since the Gazadriael incident, no longer did she patrols the cities and towns, no longer did she aid the descendants - only sending other clerics in her stead. Lucerna Temple empty of its leader. Many questioned where she was - perhaps on a long mission away from the most active parts of Axios? Hidden away within a secure location to keep a low cover? Or did she simply vanish?

Then the news came.

It began out small before growing more, spreading throughout the lands. The origin points being from the clerics who have informed fellow allies, and thus the news spread far and wide. Some people would be chittering excitedly with gleaming smiles at the news, while others would be full of sorrow and tears. Others varied between. Regardless of mood, they would all be on the same topic.

Elvira Naromis, the leader of the Clerical Order, was dead.

That was what the rumours spoke of.

How she died? The rumoured varied but her death was considered a peaceful one, her heart failing on her during a blissful sleep or when she was unconscious after fighting a great battle. No one knew for certain how she died but she was gone. The clerics burned her body at a private pyre funeral upon the mountains above Lucerna Temple, so that the darkness could not claim her and turn their leader into the very thing she fought.

A memorial was made upon where she was burned so that even in death, she watches over those she had led and looked after in life. The mantle of the leader of the Clerical Order passed down to another, to take on in her stead and do what needed to be done.

The silver and crimson light was gone as a person, yet lived on in the heart and minds of many. Whenever good or bad.

The cleric had supposedly finally earned her much deserved rest

~~~~~
Upon Lucerna’s peak did the lone hooded figure stood,
In front of the  memorial of the fallen leader.
Snow fell while the memorial’s fire burn on.
The wind humming a lament of softened grief.
The letters had been since sent, though with a heavy heart.
The memories remained in mind yet were already falling distant.
The flame of the past was finally extinguished to rest,
while another flame came forth within a new form.
Rekindled and anew.
"...and so it begins."
The figure upon Lucerna Peak would state.
The Adherents
I do not need to express any more words after what we spoke of.
but I thank each and every one of you for being a wonderful student and that I know you will all carry on with Tahariae’s Mission, regardless of the suffering along the way.
To you all, I leave Tahariae's Mission and Duty in your hands, and I trust you all to keep striving forth.
Keep the light flaring and know that I am still with you all to the very end.
Your leader,
Elvira Naromis
The Ascended
Dear those of Aeriel’s Flames,
Thank you all for being close friends and family to me in my final years.
You all know where I am and that I will be safe on the passage to Tahariae’s Realm. I know these next years will be hard but I know you all will pull through - you always do.
I do not have much to say since I have already spoken to you all. However, remember these words:
Even though everything seems lost, remember that flames burn bright when within the darkest of hours.
~ Elvira
High Elven Clerics
We may have lost contact but I pray that Tahariae’s Light watches over you and that you protect all of Tahariae, whenever they be your own clerics, the Adherents, or the Suticans.
~ Elvira
The Sutican Clerics
I know that I personally caused you all trouble, and what I did will be one of many burdens I will carry to my grave. I pray that you all keep each other safe and that you continue on with Tahariae’s Mission like you all have. Remember - you have fellow brothers and sisters in the Adherents and the other clerical sects, even if our views do not meet up or we take slightly different paths. They will protect you should you request it.
May Tahariae’s Light guide you all.
- Elvira Naromis
Lilyana of the Sutican Clerics
Lilyana. I take full responsibility and blame for the death of your newborn when I attempted to disconnect you all those years ago. I was foolish and blind, yet my actions went unpunished. I only pray now that my death was the redemption you desired for what I have done, as I have taken a life from you… thus death in return is what my punishment will be. May Tahariae’s Light guide you.
~ Elvira Naromis
[!] By the grave of the newborn within Sutica, a series of  beautiful white and pink tulips would be placed in front of the tomestone. [!]
The Vincrutes
Thank you for being the family I never had, even when Ramza went away and I had no one left. I am honoured to bear the Vincrute name and I will cherish the moments I had with you all, even if they was little to begin with. I’m sorry I never got to spend enough time with you all but I know we will meet again soon.
Take care,
~ Elvira
Spoiler
"Is Elvira gone?"
Well, that's up to all of you to decide, I won't be disclosing on if she is dead or not yet purposefully. This is to pretty much sum up where Elvira is and what has happened to her since people have begun to notice I haven't got her down as a persona.
I'm not going to say if this is PK post or not, because I am leaving that for all of you to think on :>
Inside the temple the now new leader takes his front seat in the meeting hall. His eyes shift to the memorial armours and statues, though with the built up guilt and sadness of a great friend gone, he simply nods.
"Elvira... The Arm of Tahariae... Nay... That title does not ring or sway me as a Cleric... And as a friend..."
With a quick think he nods.
"Elvira... The Inspiration..."
His smile forms as he gazes on the statue of his teacher, his mentor, his friend, his sister, his leader and his inspiration.
A deep frown would cross Alem'shuns face from his place in the Temple of Sacred Lights "A terrible loss to the glorious mission" He would say stowing the letter into the Temple archives. Finally, he would set about lighting the many candles of the temple to honor a fallen servant of the Silver Stag.
The recently returned Karyssmov Faroe grabs at the letters that were sent, his form obscured by the robes adorning him. Despite this, the nearby Clerics and even some of the students he had begun to gather would notice a certain tremble in the fists that clenched the papers, and a certain shadowing of the Elder's face. He says nothing for quite some time, merely contemplating many things, before finally uttering...
"Never got me those papers on history. She's not allowed to go yet. I don't believe this."
With that, the lordly man crumples the paper in and tosses it to the ground. He dons his robes, and steps back out into the chilly Ceru air, intent on finding the cause of this.
A kestrel, tired and worn, would soon arrive with a package to the returned Kary. Within the package would be a set of two books, each bearing the Clerical Eye on top. A note would be on top.
Vesper allows a lone tear to fall from his right eye. His hand moving to a gentle wave as he stands looking at a mountain range in Tahn. It would appear as if he were waving farewell to someone. A solemn look upon his face.
"So the hydra loses its head.. such a shame she was a good woman." Jeska mourned in secret, and only briefly - she, of all people, couldn't be known to have cared about a Cleric.
"Oh, my goodness.." A shorter, light-cherry haired elfess chewed her lip as she listened to some elf or another tell the rumor to her. "I pray she finds eternal rest among Tahariae." Indeed she did, making her way to Linandria's shrine to the Aspects. It was an unorthodox prayer, and she hoped it wouldn't offend her matron and patron, but a prayer she made nonetheless.
Alex Aureon descends the lift within the Lucerna Temple, his breathes shaky as he released a soft sigh, chest rising and falling at steady intervals.  He walked down the corridors, the bold sound of his boots echoing throughout as he went to his usual resting place, the sanctum, gaze casted towards the alter that stood at the end of it. Despite this being his usual routine, something was off, Alex was not at peace, his thoughts racing through his mind.
"Stay strong." He simply muttered to himself as he placed himself before the alter of Tahariae. "Must focus... Must continue."
And with that, he lowered to a kneel, proceeding with his usual daily prayers, though this one was quite different than the others. His words were purposed, filled with sorrow.
"Elvira has left us this day, the woman that had raised me to who I am today. I gave her my utmost respect, went to her for guidance at my lowest moments... I wish I could have done more for her, given back for all the times she helped me. But I ask, that wherever she is, she's at peace, watched over and protected."
The cleric rose to his feet, departing the sanctum and heading off towards his vacant room to rest, odd.
Leyunia heard the rumor, sighing heavily as she wiped her face.
"A tragic loss, but one that was bound to occur..I do hope she finds her way to Tah, she was more devout then any man or woman I've ever met."
The sharp sound of metal on stone echoes throughout the Rock of Order as Salem paced out to the balcony to meet the bird bearing the letter for the Vincrutes. He'd gently untie the letter, giving the bird a bit of seed from a hidden pocket. As the bird swoops away, the High Paladin would fall to his knees, expression that of total shock. The gauntlet that held the letter would shake softly, his head bowing.
"We didn't always agree, cousin, but no woman has ever led an order as you did. May your soul find eternal rest in the arms of your Patron. I will repair the bonds broken with the Adherents.. in your name."
After several minutes, Salem would rise to his feet again, calling loudly for his father. A singular tear would be seem glistening in the firelight as it ran down the stoic Paladin's face.
Guyden Aureon's breathing stops as the word catches his ear. A stern scowl erupting on his face.
So such is the case...
He draws in several deep breaths, his chest heaving with each motion. Suddenly, his head droops. Hanging like a dead man at the gallows.
A tremendous shame for such an inspirational celia to come to an end. A bulwark of her faith. A slate that depicted a phenomenal story of strength, conviction, and righteousness. But all paths must reach their destination. Such is tayna.
He expels a great sigh, raising his head once more. His expression now radiating a notable contentment. Hopeful- almost.
Naught is a straight arrow however. A cycle goes on, regardless of the means.
"Know peace llir."
He exclaims aloud. Turning on his heel, he continues on with a renewed resolve.
