That's a pretty ******* childish way of responding, even if it is a meme. (This is the last place you should be memeing, as it's a form of feedback.) The man is trying to help you, and you shut him down like this. smh

Might make lotc different, that doesn't mean it's better.

You want feedback? You may add another obligatory "remove diamond gear altogether" comment to the large list. Do something with it.

All across Axios, the descendants shout "Remove diamond armor!" at the skygods. This descendant included. He holds a sign that, in bold letters, says

"oi get rid of this diamond crap"

Here's what I got to say on this topic:

  • If you're going to make PvP more fair, either remove all race buffs (passive and toggled) or fully flesh out every race in their own perks.
  • For professions, make it have a bonus to how your weapons/tools react. An example being: You're a high level woodworker, so every now and then there's a chance that your wooden item (bow, sword, tools, etc.) will not lose durability when used (Like, 1-15% chance).
  • Get rid of diamond armor in its entirety. This is coming from someone who has a full set of enchanted diamond armor- just remove it completely to make chain and iron an even playing field.
  • Have chain armor be weightless and iron armor have a slowness debuff (after all iron is heavy. Logic, man).
  • Make Ferrum Arrows do more damage, the Barbed and Armor-Piercing Arrows do the same damage as a normal arrow, Dismounting and Spectral Arrows do half the amount of damage that a normal arrow has. Then have Aurum arrows do 1.5x damage to players with their race set to Spectre, Wraith, Lich, Graven, etc. and less than half a normal arrow's damage to people that don't have that as their race.

(PS. Where's the love for mining, that stuff's hard to grind)

I'm glad to see the big league currency, diamond armor, is still here. I mean it's got to be a currency by now with all ultamatums requiring it, right? Right?!

Okay fine so much anger let's share our stance on Diamond Armor.

We're not removing it. But we are nerfing it so it's defense (total armor value) is the same as the armor value you can attain with iron armor. Diamond and Iron should give you exactly the same survivability when I am done with my work.

(an exception is relic items such as Armor of Urguan, which will remain unnerfed).

Stay tuned for further updates soontm

When 80% of the server says remove diamond armour and the development team says "Na, id rather not."

i dont see the issue with +durability iron armour that's blue, if what sporadic says is true

So from what I'm understanding, diamond and iron armour after your change will have the same defence values. If that's the case, will diamond armour just be a more durable set of iron gear with (what I assume) nerfed crafting requirements?

(Just want clarification since I'm a bit slow)

Yes, with the exception of lore-approved relic items which will retain vanilla defense values.
