To Lords and Gentlemen of the Realm,

 

            The brutal assassination of our Emperor has left us in the state of disorder and chaos. It is by the will of the Closed Council and its respective nobles to maintain order, security and communication throughout these turbulent times. In order to do this, the Closed Council and its respective nobles have elected the selection of three regents, to serve respectfully and in the chaotic times we find ourselves in. The regents are as followed,

 

• His Excellency the Archchancellor, Lord Frederick Marna,

• His Holiness the High Pontiff Everard IV,

• and Grandmaster Robert of the Order of Saint Lucien, Commander of the Faith Militant.

 

             These individuals will serve responsibly and with right mind to guide the nation. Furthermore, the Closed Council, its respective nobles and the Imperial Regents find such to state,

 

• The denouncement of Lord Canonius for his hand in the murder of Emperor John VI and his fellow courtiers,

• The denouncement of Lord Canonius for his hand in the murder of Lord Gottfried Helvets,

• The denouncement of Lord Canonius for his breach of promise to do no harm to Lord Gottfried Helvets’ kin and kith,

• The denouncement of Lord Canonius for his use of bandits and mercenaries who have fought our Fair Nation repeatedly,

• The denouncement of Lord Canonius for shedding the blood of clergymen and holy soldiers,

• The denouncement of Lord Canonius for attempting to overthrow the legal government for his own gain,

• The denouncement of Lord Canonius for forcing nobles at sword point to swear fealty and giving false promises to ambitious upstarts and cretins,

• And the denouncement of Lord Canonius for dividing mankind even further and only believing his misled will is the correct one.

 

            The Closed Council, its respective nobles and the Imperial Regents will not allow these transgressions and falsities to further corrupt our Fair Nation. Furthermore, any lord, soldier and freeman who remains loyal to the rightful government is to cut all ties to the false control of Lord Canonius.
