Narthok 10416 Share Posted December 26, 2017 Concerning the Fel Plague To my fellow men, of all faiths and of all realms. I have found that within the ranks of the mortal living are those strange folk that find themselves laden with the most foul of afflictions. These individuals infected with the Fel find themselves capable of perverting the natural order of the world. Bestowed with such a weighty curse they are constantly tempted to the most grievous of sins. Violating the pristine beauty and grace of creation in pursuit of their own ease and luxury. Repeatedly I have observed those who at face value seem entirely of a pious and pleasant disposition erupt in invocation of foul Fel practices. I do not believe that we can render blame upon those individuals infected with this most heinous disease. They are not at fault for succumbing to this malady. Therefore we must endeavour to cure those individuals that find themselves burdened by this terrible plague. We of the Brotherhood of the Holy Hearth and of the Holy Hearth Council have concluded that we must first gather up the ill and enclose them within a quarantine zone where they can be closely monitored and prevented from succumbing to the temptations of their illness. We hope that with sufficient time and research we will be able to cure this illness and nullify the foul effects of the Fel. Should quarantined individuals find themselves unable to resist the temptations of their illness then we will be compelled to grant them The All Father’s peace that they may be spared from further sin in their torturous existence. We of the Holy Hearth Council do request that all knowledgeable in the arts of alchemy and nullification of Fel effects make themselves known to the Hearthton Monastery. We will be glad to discuss reimbursement for your services, although charitable work is greatly appreciated. With this in mind the Hearthton Monastery will be dispatching its Holy Purifiers to secure the afflicted in order to deliver them to the quarantine zone. Due to the strenuous workload being laid upon the ranks of the Purifiers we ask that idle men of the Faith make themselves available to the Monastery or consider enlisting in the Purifiers. We will require significant manpower to secure and police the quarantine zone while we search for a permanent cure. WARNING We find ourselves unsure if the Fel Plague is of a contagious nature. However we have observed repeated contact with the infected can occasionally result in the development of Fel effects. With this in mind we STRONGLY ADVISE THAT YOU AVOID ALL INFECTED. If forced to interact with the infected ensure that you KEEP YOUR MOUTH COVERED with a rag and DO NOT MAKE SKIN CONTACT. If you are unfortunate enough to breath the same unfiltered air as the infected then it is advised that you immediately gargle an alcoholic solution before moving to a clean area. If you make skin contact you must THOROUGHLY WASH YOURSELF, the filth of the Fel Plague cannot be allowed to persist on your person lest you develop this horrible illness. Let us root out this horrible disease and ensure the health of our realms and our peoples. Do not suffer the freedom of the afflicted, they must be quarantined and cured. In this we ask for the assistance of our fellow men, regardless of faith or creed in safeguarding the greater body of humanity from the insidious influences of the Fel. Askuzai 505 Share Posted December 26, 2017 Galen will not have to worry about skin contact or breathing in the disease as he is always suited with a mask and a full suit of armor at all times anyways. He crosses his arms together at the document before briskly leaving to help his brothers with this task of curing the diseased with fire if necessary. DustyDune 241 Share Posted December 26, 2017 Sohaer Cenwall glances over the missive with a mused look upon his smug face. "Ha.. ha ha..." He'd read over once more, wiping a tear of supremacy from his superior eyelid. "Fel plague? These humans not only lack the mental capability of a pure 'thill but also thereof that of a half-breed degenerate beggar. Why ever did we grant these mongrels land when they embarrass themselves with such a spew of idiocy, that I beg to reason the whole civilized world has never seen such lunacy!" He'd show his pinky, sipping his tea and reclining back into his birch wicker chair. "More research must be had on the effects of Aengul influence on the human brain." "While I may not be informed as to what this 'Fell Plague' is I am a practiced alchemist possessing the skills to alchemically cure death through multiple methods. I give no guarantees that I will be able to treat what ever this affliction is but I consider it valuable to my self, and your Council, that I visit a quarantine and pursue the matter.
