Preamble.

 

Established in 1643 at the behest of Ilkazar and His Majesty, Otto II, the Haensetian College of Magic was created to provide the groundwork for magicks and other disciplines in academia among humanity. In doing so, the institution retains at the center of its mission to propagate a broader curriculum in awareness, practice, and research of magical abilities and entities at-large. Whilst remaining true to the values of Canonist law, the college continues to experiment and study various means of magic that do not allude to any heresies or witchcraft that ails the spiritual integrity of its students. In totality, the Haensetian College of Magic serves primarily for the basis of fundamental truth and cultivating profound curiosities in the supernatural.

 

Royal Army Volunteer Clause

 

In addition to enrollment, the institution of the promotes the voluntary servitude of all students in the Royal Army of Haense as volunteer enlisted to utilize their curriculum and learning for the safety and benefit of the kingdom and its citizens.

The College of Magic Facility

 

Whilst offering courses in magic disciplines, the institution provides its space to all other settings of educational intent with prior permission from the Royal Government. The building itself serves as a center of academia, providing for students and researchers a haven of study and science.

 

The Library

Located on the bottom floor of the campus building, the Haensetian College of Magic contains a library of various textbooks and works for empirical study and research. The library holds volumes of books on a multitude of subjects concerning magic disciplines: Necromancy, Void Translocation, Hydromancy, and Illusion theory among others spanning from across various ages and realms. It is accessible to all students and staff and open throughout the academic term. Donations accepted!

 

The Classrooms

    The Haensetian College of Magic provides two classrooms on the campus building for instructional use in the courses mentioned. Classes are generally convened within these rooms by the course instructor. The classrooms are equipped with desks and a table for the instructor’s use.

 

The Dormitories

    Students may board within the base floors of the campus building of the college, provided for their utility to study and live within the campus complex as they attend their respective courses. Each dorm is equipped with a bed, desk, and shelves for students’ utility. The High Mage must be notified for individuals seeking to utilize these facilities.

-Arcane Magic: Elemental Evocation

Instructor: Ilkazar

Course Info:

The Haensetian College of Magic offers course instruction in the uses of fire and earth Elemental Evocation, a form of Arcane magic. This discipline invokes the synthesis and manipulation of elemental properties, substances found in the natural world. This magic creates a tentative generation of elemental substances as the user invokes the magic at will.

 

-Arcane Magic: Voidal

Instructor: Ilkazar

Course Info:

The Haensetian College of Magic includes course meetings regarding the disciplines of Voidal magic, utilizing ‘mana’ and the notion of the Void as an empty plane to the user’s ability to conjure up objects and entities with their willpower through this dimension. The user is taught in the means of creating communication and harnessing this dimension to their uses in this magical discipline.

 

II. Trades and other course disciplines

 

-Plumbing using Elemental Magic

Course Info:

The College offers a minor class in a plumbing trade integrating Elemental Evocation to repair and maintain piping. The course involves studying in various settings of drainage and pipelining and using knowledge of elemental evocation, the mage manipulates the contents to repair the blockages and damages.

 

-Introduction to Medicine: First Aid

Instructor: Roland Servatius

Course Info:

The College offers course trade in basic medical and first aid curriculum, hosted within the institution itself and on first-hand practice in the Markev hospital.

 

-Canonist Theology

Instructor: Elphias of Metz

Course Info:

The College offers instruction in basic theology to lay students interested in Canonist theology and scripture at the discretion of the Archbishop of Jorenus as its main course teacher.

High Mage Ilkazar

Ilkazar, a notable figure in the Kingdom for many years now, is a revered practitioner of magic who serves as the Court Mage of the Kingdom of Haense since its reformation under King Stephen. He is renowned within the Kingdom for his wisdom, powers of arcane magic, and magical combat.

 

 

Roland Servatius, Doctor of Medicine

Serving as the city physician to both the Royal Family and the rest of the citizenry, Roland Servatius is a seasoned and well-versed doctor with extensive knowledge in general medicine and in various pathological diagnoses.

 

 

Archbishop Elphias

As Pontifical overseer of the Haensetian Mage College, Father Elphias is tasked with the moderation of curriculum and the oversight of Canonical enforcement, ensuring heresies are not propagated within the institution. He is an honorary professor of theology at the Haensetian College of Magic.
