MEDICAL REPORT - CADAVER OBSERVED:

Recently, a numerous amount of bodies were found mauled, with their limbs torn off and almost unidentifiable to those nearby. Bodies were observed, large raking marks and eviscerations with some sort of set of teeth were apparent on the wounds.

Further investigation by others lead to the discovery of a new disease that has situated themselves among the Elven and Druid population. Cadavers of the afflicted were found by our surgeons and academy, where the body was examined and features were brought up.

The cadavers of those affected by Lupine Rot appeared to have yellowish tints on the whites of their eyes, canines which extrude themselves more than normal. The ailment is ungodly and appears to warp the senses of the afflicted. Scents that normally dissuade animals will affect them, strong things such as mint, citrus and other ones that linger can distrupt the pattern and senses of the afflicted.

The main purpose of these afflicted is to turn into beastial creatures to consume innocents and small children to fuel their animalistic rampages. Behaviour which is observed is akin to a pack mentality, they protect those closest to them and attempt to transfer the disease through contact of the skin.

This highly infectious disease is what must be destroyed in our society. Those afflicted with secondary Lupine Rot may face symptoms of hot flushes, fevers, occasional itching and convulsions. Those who are affected by secondary Lupine Rot can be cured by physicians, mixtures of herbal concoctions can treat such things. Those who come into contact with the ‘carriers’ of Lupine Rot must ensure to bathe afterwards and to burn any clothes they come into contact with. The disease thrives on contact, so this is why this blight must not allow for the carriers to make contact with others.

Carry gold or silver upon your forms, they shall shield you from the ungodly blight of the Lupine Rot. If you come into contact with any ‘Carriers’ of the Lupine Rot, assemble as many people as you can and aim to incapacitate it or execute. The damaging of the head will assure the death of those blighted by such a horrible ailment.

The identity of a Carrier has been given to the society which has looked over these bodies, the victims and the Carriers of the Lupine Rot. Quillian Serene, and the entire brood of the Serene family is suspected to be afflicted by either Secondary Lupine Rot, or a true Carrier. Druids and elf-kin have also been reported to be afflicted by this ailment. All nations are advised to purge and expel these potential carriers to protect their citizens.

DO NOT SEEK OUT CARRIERS OF THE LUPINE ROT, DESTROY THEM. HEAL THOSE WHOM ARE SECONDARY AND HAVE NOT BEEN TRULY AFFLICTED BY THE HORRIBLE CURSE.

"It's called Lycanthrope." Says an Aeldin man, "And it's derived from demi-aspects known as Mani. The transformation is incredibly gruesome, and watching it gives you the shover. They embrace it as a gift, but such a lust for bloodshed is nothing of a gift."

"Suppose it's time to get rid of the beast men." remarks Leatherback, frowning at the notice.

A messenger is sent to find the author of the original piece with the following message:

"Observation of those with prior interactions with these beasts has lead me to believe the affliction is parasitic in nature. Those playing host to this sickness are sympathetic and protective of other afflicted, even expressing the will to raise arms in defense of those unwilling to seek treatment. It is of personal belief that this is a later and untreatable stage of the sickness, even in the absence of physical mutation and would advise hasty execution and cremation of those with symptoms.

A wight screams spasmodically in his swamp home about the 'two great plagues of the generation'. Puppy girls and easterner literature, the awful spectre floated furious circles around his safe space; on and off he thrashed around like a child slamming his head and into walls, furniture, etc.

"It should be noted that alongside the horrid hound named Quillian, a tanned elf named Toren, alongside his entire family, bears this degenerative affliction." A Marked Man utters for the whole world to hear, dragging what seemed to be an oiled rag over the strong of his blade.

"Druids causing trouble? What an entirely novel concept," a certain Snow Elf sarcastically quips upon hearing of the infestation, before returning to his ledgers with a dull sigh.

"What's this shover you speak of when you see the transformation?" A gladiator named Marius asked.
