stuff like this will always happen until theres a plugin to automate it, every system that requires GM oversight is bound to fail

I don't want Nexus plots 2.0, any attempt to automate regions via plugin is awful. Should have just kept or made new charter rules seeing as we are roughly half way through this map with this territories plugin no where in sight. Though, the best solution would be to require neither by adopting a system of land distribution similar to 3.0's, wherein the primary four racial nations received the lion's share and distributed it as RP saw fit. However, this isn't really feasible until a map transition.

call me crazy but how is it a gm can tell me the activity of a free build but cannot tell when a nation is not active? Just incase players arent suppose to know when a free build is inactive or not lets just take a moment to understand the free build rules say if its been over 30 days of low to no activity basically then you can be evicted in just three day, why don't nations suffer this same thing? you cannot reasonably tell me the halflings passed nation status checking in Axios when the halflings lived under other people how did they even get it this map? the charter system worked, mayeb the prices need to be changed thanks to this economy being screwed like it is every map but hey.

tldr; If you can activity check free builds why not activity check nations and why on earth can one of the most active places on the server not apply to pay for nation status.

Since you're so educated about the halflings you will know that during that map halflings were randomly deleted from their region and forbidden from owning any soulstone pillars, fast travel, region rights, and forced to live with others purely due to an admin holding a grudge. But of course since that happened once, halflings should forever be treated that way. But this isn't about halflings in a past map, this is about Holm.

It's not like it's a great sacrifice giving places like Holm a green pillar. We aren't going to look back on it in a few months and regret giving them a pillar like it's our last ever one and we needed to save it. No one loses anything from it, this is a game. Just give people things to make their lives easier and the server better. Keeping people in this deprived state only makes the server more frustrating to play. Holm is a good city and should be rewarded and encouraged, not starved of benefits that cost absolutely nothing to give

I can only imagine how hard it is for other free build nations if its this hard for one with two World DevZ. Give us the promised regioning system.

Agreed with OP and this, but holms region needs curbing since theu are currently claiming an area larger than any other nation, extending an entire mountain range. so regioning should be of cities and no more.

I think this should be for every "Nation". The only hard regions should be around the actual city.

The duty of keeping unwanted "guests" from building fortifications in their reach  should fall upon the nation and be dealt with either by force or diplomacy.

Shouldn't be a problem if a nation wants to be active. Would let people actually do something instead of them hoarding land.

We own the entire mountain range, yeah, but the two cities and our farm, and the druid grove we have, which are all active, take up that entire space save a little field in the middle. We're also not claiming an area larger than any other nation. We're one of the smallest nations. The Dominion, Krugmar, Fenn, and Hanse all claim way more than us, in fact, they own entire portions of the map uncontested. Don't be telling me that, we claim no more than we need. In fact we are pestered all the time to claim even more land, but we don't because we want to push RP out.

Holm is often the place referred to for Dwarven roleplay to New Players by not only Application Team members but I have seen admins recommend it before in Wandering Soul Chat due to its activity. We often have see less activity in the city of Kaz'Ulrah so it is not always the best idea to refer new players there.

Redstone soul pillars often make things incredibly difficult for these new players who are referred to places outside of main nations for activity because they have a hard time navigating the road. Most wish to argue that we should be referring new players to areas with green soul pillars however we cannot refer new players to an empty area. The proposal above would be helpful to not only established players in these areas but new players who are just starting out. I would hope to see this seriously considered.

Wait I have one more ground breaking question. Why is it tahn last map had ss pillars scattered all across it in places that were not even close to active locations but this map an active group has to beg a staff team to let them /pay for mind you/ a pillar

Regioning of an ENTIRE mountain range under one nation is ludicrous, most nation tiles usually take up the vicinity of their land, while Holm's borders extend up to 400-500 blocks outside of their capital, which IS larger than any other nation.

Edit: Here's a more recent map, showing current boarders. WE obviously do NOT own the most land. Fenn, Kurgmar, Kaz'Ulrah or the Dominion seem to be guilty of that.

In terms of a city region yea we would only include the city.

In terms of tile ownership we would have all if not most of that mountain range and valley.

I'm not asking for a region (though that would be very nice) I want a green pillar please.
