IT ENDS WHERE IT BEGAN

 

 

Sun rose on a ruined, devastated city. In the middle of a cratered out throneroom, covered in sweat and blood, a man wrenched his sword out of the final fallen Orenian. The smell of blood and rotting flesh wafted up. Many men lay injured, some pulled back. Many more had fallen and died.

 

Four men stood remaining, armed. Their names shall remain in history, forever, as the Heroes of Renatus:

Wren Istaf.

 

Lubok’Lak.

 

We shall also remember the men who fell beside them in the throne-room.

 

Let this battle run out as a reminder to our enemies. This war with unloyal men started in this very throne room, when the men of Renatus butchered the plotting Adrians. This war ends here, in the throne room, where the treacherous Marnanites die choking on their own blood.
