A FAILING KINGDOM.

Curon is a failing kingdom.

When I walk its streets, I barely see another soul.

My homeland is now run by a crooked Lord-Regent and his councillors are in revolt against the great Orenian Empire!

Deception is at the heart of Curonia.

Curon betrayed Haense during the first Czena conflict, back on Atlas.

Curon betrayed Renatus during the first coalition war, back on Atlas.

Curon betrayed the Renatians during the first few years of the War of the Two Emperors to side with Holy Orenian Emperor Joseph de Marna.

Curon betrayed the empire of Joseph de Marna, in the same conflict and sided with Renatus!

And now, once more Curon continues its path of betrayal by siding with the aggressors of Morsgrad.

Angelo and his councillors, end this cycle of betrayal.

This cycle of betrayal is tired and old and must be put aside, once and for all.

But knowing Curonia, that may never happen.

I pen this letter to all Curonians, my family, the Rutledges and whoever is left of the Curonian people.

I write this letter to my homeland from the thriving City of Helena, and I renounce the rebellious actions of Angelo de Alba and his council of crooks.

Curon deserves better than this, and all of Arcas does as well.

 

The hassle of the war is not worth it, this cycle is not worth it.

I have been a critic of how the Orenian Empire functions, it is one of bureaucracy, but rather than taking a blade in revolt against this mighty empire, I have realised, and hopefully any Curonian on the side of the accursed Angelo that we, as the noble race of mankind are truly together we strive as a united humanity.

Mankind is strong when united, and it is weak when divided.

Do not let foolish ideas, such as rebellion get in the way of prosperity.

Together, we thrive.

Life itself suspended by a thread
