To the Trade Princess Lilith Helenson-Anarion of Sutica,

 

Your attempt to ease the ongoing tensions with quotations from your law books has not gone unnoticed. We are not barbarians, but we will not show mercy to those who defy Luara and the Mortal King. You harbor blood mages and heretics, a fact that you are more than aware of. It matters not to Renelia whether or not a Blood Mage holds no power; he has been given titles within your nation and used them in his harassment upon our people. Xavis Ashwood too, is an enemy of the Mali’ker - a traitor to his kin, and a disgusting creature.

 

We understand that your fear as your people are threatened with the tragedies that come with war. Perhaps such a war would be the first they have experienced. If you wish to avoid conflict with The Kingdom of Renelia-Gladewynn then we offer you an ultimatum; should you fail to accept these terms promptly and in full, we will have no choice but to march upon your gates with the full force of our armies.

 

[ I ] Xavis Ashwood shall be apprehended and handed over to Renelia, where he shall stand trial for his crimes against the Mali’ker and Luara’s faithful.

[ II ] Mystery Uialben shall be apprehended and handed over to Renelia, where he shall stand trial for his harassment of the Renelian people, and the suspicions that he is in fact a blood mage.

 

[ III ] The Trade Federation of Sutica shall sign a pact of non-aggression with the Kingdom of Renelia-Gladewynn, containing the same terms as the treatise previously offered.

 

[ IV ] The Trade Federation of Sutica shall agree to banish any and all ‘ker that The Kingdom of Renelia-Gladewynn consider to be criminals against both their people and the Kerviran faith. The Trade Federation will also refrain from allowing these ‘ker to move into their capital, cities, townships, or provinces otherwise, and shall instead extradite them to Renelia.

 

The above terms are our final peaceful offer.

He then snickers a bit, before crumbling up the paper and throwing it off the balcony of his safe spot away from all the poltical happenings. “While they’re at it, they might as well ask for half of the Sutican land, 3 specific council positions, 80% of the treasury, and a personal foot massage. Welp, whatever happens happens.. I hope Renalia is ready for the inevitable chain of reactions that this shall all set off.” 

He then pulls out a cigarette, lighting the tip before letting the blunt rest within his mouth.. enjoying the moments he has alone.

Deep within the depths of a certain manor, an infamous ‘ker elfess would pace back and forth in her room after reading a copy of the letter over. She let out a deep sigh before going to adjust an ancestral charm and light a incense, mumbling incoherently under her breath. She’d sit down at the desk, a look of concern on her features as she began writing. “There is  soon to be much work to be done.”

Emeline Uialben, proud bearer of the Uialben name, grits her teeth upon reading the missive, immediately rushing down the stairs of her Irrinor home. ”If I leave my father in the dust now, I might as well scratch this name out as well,” she mutters to herself as she takes down the hanging sword from its display and sliding it across her back. Gathering what supplies she has on hand, she sets out to find her father and aid him in whatever conflict he’s found himself in this time, whistling for a bird to reach out to him and chucking the missive into the air. ”Don’t worry, Dad. I’m coming.”

 

Luma Vincrute frowns upon finding the missive having flown her way. The ‘ker tosses it back into the air without a second thought, simply moving back inside whilst whistling. 

 

Althaia Elibar’acal tugs at her father’s shirt, proudly showing her latest catch from the river. It’s the missive. ”Why do they wanna kill this man? Is he impure? I don’t think he deserves to die,” the ten-year-old ‘aheral questions him, but the missive soon flies out of her hand, caught in the wind. 

 

Cehdriel Analise find the missive on the ground while making a campfire. ”Huh. This is why trees are better,” the ‘ame declares before chucking the missive into the fire as fuel.

Leilatha Devione took a sip of wine as she read over the response her king gave to Sutica alongside her fellow council member. “Fethis” She began “Remember when one of our good friends lied to the Suticans and made them hilariously believe some irrelevant child was in danger? Ivär Goldhand would hear the news about Mika’s family being in danger, he’d lean into his chair with a wooden pipe in his right golden gauntlet, as a golden great sword would rest to the wall “Mika betta’ knows ‘e es nae alone ento dis...”
