Welcome to MINA MADNESS!, the new state-funded game show which demonstrates general knowledge, wit, and wisdom about a varied field of subjects! This media initiative is designed to promote the general welfare and education of our citizens, and to demonstrate that academics is not just for squares and geeks – it can earn you money!

That’s right, on MINA MADNESS!, contestants are given the opportunity to earn money simply by correctly answering questions selected on a large board. Here’s how the game works – there will be three contestants per game, competing overall to earn minae. During the first round, players will choose between four categories and five values of minae to be awarded. The more minae the question is worth, the more difficult that question will be. Questions are given in the form of an answer, while answers are given in the form of a question. Any contestant may then ring their buzzer and attempt to answer the question. If they’re correct, they will be awarded the funds, and choose the next question. Otherwise, another player may answer instead. The minae values ascend, going from 50, to 100, 200, 300, and 500. In the second round, all values are doubled, increasing the risk, as well as the reward. Values change to 100, 200, 400, 600, and 1,000 respectively. In the third and final round, all contestants are asked to wage a portion of their earnings. If they get the question correct, they’ll double that amount. If not, they’ll lose that amount. The question is then distributed for players to write down their answers, and consequently reveal them. Players then keep their final score. The player with the highest cash prize earning will then be awarded a bonus 100 minae.
