[!] A messenger sends out the invitations to each district of the Holy Orenian Empire.

 

It is with great honor that the Courts of the Imperial Household announces a solicitation of the first Tilt of Providence. A call to all those who deem themselves Warriors, or Protectors of their homeland -- that being from Providence, Dobrov, Esbec, Redenford, and the noble estates across this Empire.

 

As such the Empire calls all persons who presume themselves qualified, for a showcase and display of their grandeur and valor. The winner of this tournament of champions shall be bestowed the title of “The Most Resilient, Protector of the Augustine,” by Her Imperial Highness, Duchess-consort of Helena Wilhelmina Beatrix.

 

THE TOURNAMENT

The event will be held in a tournament-styled showcase, where all contenders will be placed in a bracket to duel, in a best-of-3 style of rounds, until one winner is selected. 

A second chance will be afforded to those who have lost in a loser’s bracket, for a chance at second place.

 

THE PRIZE

First place will receive the following:

1. The title of The Most Resilient, Protector of the Augustine bestowed by HIH Wilhelmina Beatrix, Duchess-consort of Helena.

2. A statue of the warrior in the Augustine gardens.

3. A prize of 300 mina.

 

ADMISSIONS:

To be eligible, contenders must sign up before the date of the tilt, within a saint’s week.
