Pay the MoJ!

- A call from the Josephite Union -

9th Owyn's Flame, 1814

A crowd had gathered in front of the Ministry of Justice HQ in Providence. There, Keaghen Armas had rose to the podium and spoke out to the crowd a call to action for the Imperial Treasury. @Anore

Ladies and Gentleman,

Myself and the Josephite Union believe the MoJ deserves to be paid.

Our boys and girls in blue put their lives on the line every single day to keep you safe. They are the front lines on these streets, and they take down criminals who wish to hurt you.

I’d like to congratulate my friend Charles Galbraith, who’s skilled leadership has grown the MoJ from nothing, and has created a highly disciplined and trained force of crime-fighting patriots.

These are the Patriots who keep you safe. Just as well as our noble ISA does. Patriots who deserve to be paid.

Those who fight criminals in our alleyways should nae have to sleep in the same alleys.

Teddy Mane, I’m calling on you to pay the MoJ!

The MoJ does not even have the funding for batons, for protective gear, or for proper riot shields. These are paid out of pocket by the constables, even though they collect no wage!

Teddy Mane has been the Secretary of the Treasury for over 4 years now, and our public service wages have not grown!

Teddy Mane has not shown up to the House of Commons Treasury Committee, despite the Josephites reaching out multiple times. He knows that your Josephite Diet wants to see the MoJ paid, maybe that’s why he doesn’t attend?

Why do you not want to pay the MoJ, Teddy Mane? Are you hiding something?

Pay them today, Teddy Mane. Pay the MoJ today.

Or the Josephites will make you pay.

The crowd chanted,

And chanted,

And the Minister of Justice took the stand, supporting the Josephite's calls.

A transcript is then sent out, signed by Keaghen Armas
to the Secretary of the Imperial Treasury, @Anore
and to the Archchancellor, @Nectorist

and to the Prince Regent. @KosherZombie

Where is the pay for the MoJ?

The Solicitor-General would prepare for his upcoming meeting with the Treasury Secretary "I am sure that His Excellency Tedy Manne is already open to assign an annual budget for our Ministry of Justice and its Constabulary though, so maybe there is no need to pressure him with this campaign. Anyway, I thank the Josephites for their amazing support!"

"Every worker, public servant and citizen of our great country should receive a pay check. To pay for this, I propose a wealth tax on the rich." Says Vivaca Rutledge

"Pah! An official of the MoJ, once alerted about bandits on the road, instead of alerting the ISA, ringing the bell or doing anything to rally some form of response, decided his most civic duty to the endangered civilians on the road was to recruit people at the gates. Thats right, a man came running into the city warning that bandits lurked on the road and this official did not care. He said he was part of the MoJ and could not do anything and refused to even ring the bell for unknown reasons." Said Basil Moroul.

Mr. Mane stands, scratching his head. "Mr. Armas is my undersecretary, does he not realize it is not only within his abilities, but his responsibility as well to oversee the offering of budgets to the ministries.... More political posturing by Josephites, this is no different then standing next to a fire with the only bucket of water screaming 'Someone should put this out'" the aging treasurer strolls away back to his chess match.
