[A PORTRAIT OF THE CROWN JEWELS]

A N N O   D O M I N I 1814

Penned by the hand of Her Excellency, Anna Henrietta d’Arkent

Within time- and the passing of the late and great Joseph II- it has come forth that great historical moment to crown the newest Imperial Majesty. The eldest son of our late and noble Emperor, John VIII, now has been set on the path to lead our wonderful nation into victory.

The coronation will take place on the 10th of Tobias' Bounty. Beginning with a procession and parade from the ISA, leading the future Emperor from the palace to the entrance of the cathedral in order to show their unyielding loyalty to the Imperial Family.

After the Pontiff performs the ceremonial session- there will be a dance hosted by the Governess of the Palace in celebration of the new Emperor. Feasting and dancing will be performed while the crowned Emperor socializes with the people of Providence in jolly habit.

Proceeding the ball- there will be a tournament of strength. Winner receives a trophy and dinner in the Imperial Palace. MUST be over the age of sixteen.

ISSUED BY

HE, Anna Henrietta d’Arkent

Governess of the Palace and Baroness-dowager of Carrington

A reply comes in response to the notice- confirming that the title of Governor does indeed make the title holder's addressment 'Your Excellency' and seemingly an apology that the prior Governor was never informed of such.

Maisie d'Arkent sat in her newly decorated office, reading through her daily papers and notices. Smiling as she read her aunt's notice. "So quick. She is the most efficient Governess the palace has ever had. They should have put women in charge a long time ago!" she'd proclaim.

Darius Dy’Squith glances over to the wooden tailoring mannequin beside him, the sartorial wheels and cogs in his head already thinking up a new frock. He looks across a few rather garish fabric samples, running his hands across their shiny surfaces.  “I must put on a few ornaments now and again. It is, after all, expected.”

The aging priest would sign the Lorraine reading of the coronation. “May God bless our new Emperor, and may he welcome the late Joseph II into the seven skies with open arms.” Johan would then jump from his seat remembering something, he’d run around his home seeming to be in a state of panic  “I must ready the coronation gifts!”
