THE POST-LIMINAL JUNCTURE

A celebration of burgeoning adulthood

In this year of 399 E.S, the County of Jerovitz is no longer under regency - as the firstborn son, and heir, Vladrik Otto Kortrevich has come of age to take the reins, taking the title of Count. Being born as part of a triplet, the Count, and his two sisters- Lady Emelya and Lady Viktoriya, have all subsequently come of age. 

 

The halls of Jerovitz have been quieter than ever… but not for much longer. Restoring some vitality into the old keep, His Lordship, Vladrik, sees it fitting to host a tremendous celebration. In part, a debutante for his two sisters, while celebrating his ascension to fill the late Jan Otto’s shoes.

 

Itinerary for the Evening:

 

To kick off the celebration, each sibling will start with a dance choosing a partner of their choice to accompany them. This ceremonial dance will signify the beginning of the evening and soon after, guests are welcome to join in the dance, allowing the merriment to commence!

 

As is traditionally done at the debutante of haeseni origin, a bestowment of wreaths made up of flora which is picked out specifically for their symbolism representing the debutante herself. Lord Vladrik will take this time to honor his siblings by bestowing said wreaths upon their heads, formally indicating his sisters coming of age. 

 

Following the bestowment of wreaths, Lord Vladrik will address those in attendance, announcing his formal ascension to Count of Jerovitz, as well as showing appreciation to those who have shown their support throughout the house’s time of regency. 

 

For the rest of the evening, guests are encouraged to mingle and enjoy their time at Jerovitz. Count Vladrik will be present to accept any courtship requests on behalf of his siblings throughout the night. Food and drink will be provided and guests are welcome to stay as long as their hearts desire. The Noble House of Kortrevich is looking forward to such a celebration.

Recieving the invitation on her brothers behalf as he was away on a trip, Margot Baruch would let out a sigh of relief as she looked over the parchment. "Thank Godan Vladrik listened t' me." She said, recalling the hours it took helping her friend figure out how to write the missive in the first place. The girl then went on her way, whistling a tune.

Nikolai Mikhail Kortrevich, The youngest of all five siblings, would sigh softly as his family prepared for the celebration. "Ea suppose ea should put en outfit together" He said to none other than his best friend, Shortcake the Bull. "Do niet worry, ea will get vy a bow to wear or something.."

Eirik Baruch, Duke of Valwyck, currently on tour across the realm of Almaris, and hence unable to attend himself, sends very clear instructions to his cousin, Viktor Baruch. With those instructions given, he returns to his vacationing affairs, which currently consisted of desperately looking for a place to sleep in Urguan.
