Upon having gotten the news that her one love, Robert had committed suicide, Anne Caroline felt devastated. Noone got to see the lady treasurer of Oren for weeks on and - and when she returned to the public, something  seemed changed about her. Her laugh more hollow and even less seen these days. She focussed on her work and only her work, trying to shut the door upon a chapter that had wounded her more than she ever had been wounded before.
