Azie 657 Share Posted April 12, 2022 A LETTER FROM THE DUCHESS OF AZOR HG Philippa Antoinette, The Duchess of AzorPublished 3rd of Sigismund's End, 1867 [!] An open letter would be sent to HIM Anastasia, the Holy Orenian Empress alongside the Vuiller household, predominantly the heads. However, a public notice would be stamped. [!] @Eryane @PrettyCuteAnna @Harald To Her Imperial Majesty and the Viscomtial House of Vuiller, The Astercalia, formerly known as the Social Season brings forth a sense of delight in the young ladies of the Empire. Ladies and debutantes gather in abundance to participate with a generous practice of etiquette and demeanour. The coveted title of Ruby is sacred as only a few have obtained the title. Even spanning through to the beginning when the Princess Imperial Elizabeth Anne began the tradition. There have been a total of six Rubies before our current Astercalia. All of the rubies who have been selected showed impeccable etiquette and grace. Namely, our late Ruby, Margravine Laurentina von Archisdorf presented herself with the utmost kindness and elegance. Lady Archisdorf continues to do so even after her time in the season. My words now may be harsh, but as a citizen of the Empire and someone who has overseen many decades, I hope my words will be heeded. Miss Isabella Nora Bennett was afforded the luxury of the sacred and ever-coveted title of Ruby. However, despite her show at the presentation, her actions outside of the court show lack of etiquette, courtesy and respect for the imperial peerages. The House of Azor has been faithfully loyal throughout the decades and it is saddening for us to bear the insults of the ‘Ruby’ after she committed sinful acts in the home of the Imperial Family no less. I believe my words spoken to the Miss and her counterpart were tame considering what they committed in the dark quarters of the library. I am disappointed in Miss Isabella’s character and hope that she may mend her character in the form of etiquette and understanding. Signed by, HER GRACE, Philippa Antoinette, The Duchess of Azor

Taketheshot 3834 Share Posted April 12, 2022 Joseph d'Azor nodded as he read the posted missive outloud at breakfast, finally able to use his formerly broken arm. "Hmmm I think you made the right call here Philly." The Duke mused tapping his wife's shoulder as he went on. "I was waiting for her to slap you and I'd just POW." Joseph d'Azor shot out a mock punch exaggerated and disturbing the set table. He calmed himself the aged Duke settling back at the table. "But you handled it very well!" @Azie
EmiliainWonderland 2311 Share Posted April 12, 2022 Maria laughed at the missive. "Who can blame her for causing trouble with the most insufferable Orenian family? The d'Azors are so high and mighty. I love to hear a commoner understands that as well. I LOVE drama."
kuerbis 3802 Share Posted April 12, 2022 Laurentina wonders why an irrelevant person questions the judgement of a Duchess, who is superior not only in status but also intellect. "How odd," commented she towards her husband upon walking past Maria.
