In the crossroads of destiny, one has a choice. One road shall lead to the prosperities of yore, another road shall lead to the destructiveness of Iblees’ himself. It is the nature of these choices - these roads of destiny - to be hazed with conflict and confusion. One might not hold the opinion of another, and yet that opinion inflicts the pain of wrongful choices onto that very same man as that is the course of actions. And so one might find comfort in the thought of aid, with men and women alike on each side of oneself to ensure these crossroads are met faithfully, with all factors in mind. “Let you take heed, John Charles, that an Emperor is the sum of the men which he surrounds himself with. Your father, Joseph II, possessed a common heart; he held no greatness; it was they who reared him that were filled with the greatness of the day. It is to his councillors that he is indebted, and to benevolent Providence.” advised Joseph II, on the ascension of John VIII to the Orenian throne.

One man has on this night not followed these words of wisdom. One man has defied the wisdom of old, destroyed the very essence of Our Imperial throne, and the sanctified institution of succession within Our lands. This man has crowned himself as Frederick I: alas his name remains Frederick Charles, for his ascension to the throne is one of falsehoods and fabrication - to defy the rights of brotherhood for the throne, to turn against one's own family in the desire to rule. What might one do to his people, if one cannot even preserve his own blood for the sinful lust of avarice?

And furthermore, this so-called Frederick I, takes the very institution which has lowered him the Crown, and abolished its ancient foundation into a simplistic Kingdom - the Kingdom of Oren - from which his falsified claims shall rise further and further as his own avarice rises through the Skies. Where even God looks down upon this failure of a man, as his foolishness demands the focus of men lesser in his mind. Shall Our Imperial throne not be respected and revered as it has throughout centuries, even so for millennia, abolished with one snap of a finger? Legacies and histories diminished through the word of an untrue Crown.

It is in this revelation, and the worries which has followed, that I, Peter IV Augustus, summon the Peers of Our Realm, those of loyal nature to the rightful Crown of Our collective lands, to fight contra the false King of Oren and his band of treacherous traitors and mercenaries. It is Our hope, in light of this call, that men of sense shall showcase their strength against the typical commencement of tyrannical rule, so that these men, these traitors, shant touch Our land nor Our traditions, shant touch Our Crown nor Our Empire.

In this call to truth, We seek the mandate of God as We shall ascend to the Imperial throne as all others have before me, in unity with the Lord God, beneath the anointing of the Pontifical throne. And so rise to the Imperial throne as the true and rightful heir, beneath the Lord God and his eternal word, wherefrom humanity shall beneath one faith once more.

And lastly, to the wicked brother of mine, Frederick Charles, as is your legal name, shall rot in the fires of Iblees’ realm as your actions deems you worthy for his displeasure. Your actions are unacceptable. Your falsified claims and fabricated stance, written underneath the pressure of our dying parents. How dare you use them to your advantage, wherefrom stems this wicked nature of yours? It saddens the heart, o’ brother of Ours, but your actions are unforgivable.

We shall end these words with the demands of mine, as you stand in no place to demand of me, as We ascend the Imperial throne as the RIGHTFUL HEIR of Philip III and Anastasia I.

Firstly, you, Frederick Charles, shall surrender yourself in the absence of restraint to the rightful Orenian reign, wherefrom you shall be rightfully judged for your unlawful actions.

Secondly, all the Peers of the Realm shall return once more to the rightful Crown, wherefrom their position shall be retained as before these events, unless these Peers shall continue to take the stance of the falsified rule. These men, who decidedly take the side of the false Frederick, shall soon be  judged before the Imperial Crown and God, wherefrom their treason shall be punished across their bloodline.

Thirdly, you shall live within the vows of the Holy See, committed to the faith in eternal servitude the Pontificate and the Lord God, to repent for your sins against the institute of the Crown, forever to look upon your failure from the halls of the Cathedrals.

You have till the end of Our Lord's year to fulfil and enact above demands, whereafter, should this not be accomplished, your untrue reign shall be plagued with the fiery wrath of God and the strengthened spirit of Orenian loyalists. Your biggest mistake, o’ brother of Ours, was and is to underestimate what We would do for Our people and land.

IN NOMINE DEI,

HIS IMPERIAL MAJESTY Peter IV Augustus, by the grace of God, Holy Orenian Emperor, forever August, King of Renatus, Curon, Kaedrin, Salvus, and Seventis, Grand Duke of Ves, Helena, Novellen, Furnestock and Lorraine, Baron of Renzfeld, Protector of the Heartlanders, Orenian Highlanders, and Farfolk, etcetera

After hearing of the Proclamation issued by the Imperial Crown, Sir Charles Galbraith, Knight of the Imperial Order of the Merit, delivered the following remarks regarding the current events in the Holy Orenian Empire:

"The Holy Orenian Empire is not just an Empire. It is the Tapestry of Man that We and Our Titans of State have been working on for generations. It is Our Country, Our Nation, Indivisible, Under GOD, And Anyone willing to dissolve Our Country to turn it into a petty Kingdom does not deserve to call himself a ‘King’ at all.

My fellow Orenians, Frederick Charles is nothing but a false king, a pretender, who would rather betray his own elder brother and rule over the ashes of a ruined country than allow the Orenian people to live in the peace and prosperity of Our Imperial State.

Make no mistake, Our Sovereign is no King but an Emperor whose name is Peter IV, firstborn son of Philip III, who shall bring Our Country to the prosperous and golden days of Peter III.

Long live His Imperial Majesty Peter IV Augustus of the House of Novellen, Holy Orenian Emperor! GOD save the Emperor and Our Holy Mother Church!”

And though they are many, the strength of GOD does not serve the wicked (Auspice 2:45)

"See my darling, everything will be just right. And we will be under the RIGHTFUL ruler of the Holy Orenian Empire. One God, One Empire, One Emperor."

As Drako Darkwood stands reading the missive he would shout bashing his Legion chestplate “HAIL TO THE TRUE EMPEROR PETER IV AUGUSTUS AND MAY HE REIGN LONG” he would then walk over to his sword, time for him to prepare for the upcoming battles.

"If the Prince Peter only cares of his inheritance for when he his threatened by his own incompetence, then so be it. Let them come, but we will not falter. They will stand, abhorrently, devastatingly in front of the purity of our Imperial Providence. No brothers of Horen will shed blood upon this day. Prince Peter will falter."

Conrad de Falstaff declares, resolute.

"To be frank, it is far from your grasp to lecture another on the will of GOD, or commit another to the will of the Church, when you, and he, and your people, decided ignore such for many-a-year under the Anathema." "And so it begins- my nephew spoke much of his distaste for war- yet here he is.. the cause of it. Hypocrisy runs rampant with him, he claims the men of Blackvale to be his equals- yet was the one responsible for the burning of their camp!" He commented idly, pacing in the confines of Reutov- the keep nearing completion.

Lady Johanne Vuiller, grand-heir to Vuillermoz had sent out a series of birds the moment she knew of everything, having gathered her friends at her home as she was truly unsure what would happen in this civil war. The young girl never knew a time without war, save for all of one day until those saw fit to bring Oren into it once more. She tucked her head against her grandmothers side. "We'll be alright, won't we?"

Garith sucked on his teeth upon reading the missive, setting the paper aside upon a growing pile of statements being released during the chaos of the Emperor and Empress’ deaths.

“The cretinous peers whom pledge to Frederick the False need their heads removed,” he stated to himself, abruptly pushing himself up from his desk to stare vacantly out his office window. “How quick they are to abandon the core of Orenian identity— being an Imperial. Absolutely sickening. Long live Peter Augustus. May God favor him.”
