“It can’t be as bad as Mama and Papa say.” Serena Viviana explained to her horde of stuffed animals as she began to stash supplies beneath her bed for a trek to Petra. “I must go see for myself.”

See Vanhart the Carrot of Reinmar was not a violent man.

In truth, he'd seldom changed in the years since he struggled to kill a bear in his hunt to join the BSK. He loved sparring with his hammer, in a bid to make others think he was a worthy knight, but he'd never developed a stomach torn blood.

Yet, when it came to those who marred the honour of his liege...

He had no such doubts.

Ser Brandt Berhal sat in his bungalow as he thought about the upcoming harvest. Ah, it was a glorious life in the heartlands, plowing fields and harvesting wheat.

Perhaps it was the simplistic lifestyle that warped his perception of 'honor', but he perceived that it was not the Duke who marred the perception of the Prince.

Rather it was the Prince himself who acted first.

He would recall the famous words of General Peter d'Arkent, "They do it to themselves." @ErikAzog

Vanhart's character and worldview is successfully changed by this metaphysical rebuttal.

Sir Brandt Berhal is metaphysically satisfied by this sudden change of heart!

...But he was not aware of such news in the corporeal realm.

Ledicort Vuiller face palms reading all the missives on the matter "Seems a matter to discuss with a Pontiff, not one to begin a war over and watch as many of those uninvolved die." He grumbles lightly, thinking of the bloodshed to come "A foolish and brash way to go about this, could have been dealt with in a far easier way"

There was no rush amongst the smithies as they took Albert Salvian's measurements, leather, chain and steel-plate set aside upon the workbench. He glanced across to Sir Louis @Da_Emperors, who had commissioned the effort at the young lord's request.

"S-So this is it..."

He muttered, somewhat apprehensive at the thought of the approaching battle. The Chancellor merely responded with a firm and honest nod. A fist clenched and the red haired child's visage displayed a new found confidence. Then, for the first time in his life he spoke clearly.

"For my people! For my country!"

A figure squinted at the missive, cackling like a witch under her breath. "Sounds like their graveyards are getting filled."

"So many praising these oath breakers who have wrought shame upon themselves in the eyes of GOTT" Yvian would shake his head "Vagabonds, bandits and white knight boot lickers..." he'd finally comment before returning to his forge, his hammer falling upon anvil as he set his mind to more pressing matters
