THE FALCON’S FLIGHT OF 467

As a child of Stafyr begins to come of age, it is one of our proudest traditions that our youth undertake a ceremony known as the Falcon’s Flight, a series of trials meant to demonstrate the readiness of a young Almannir of Beorn’s line to properly set out into the world at large.

 

The first trial of the Falcon’s Flight, as detailed in the Chronicles, requires the retrieval of an unhatched falcon from its mother’s nest. Upon doing so, a young Stafyr must then successfully raise their hatchling to maturity before undertaking their pilgrimage to the shrine of Saint Godwein of Huntshill.

 

We shall allow close friends of the family to observe these proceedings, provided that they remain respectful of our House’s most ancient and hallowed traditions. However, it must be known that interference with the ceremony will not be tolerated.
