THE TREATY OF FREDERICKSBURG

BY THE GRACE OF ALMIGHTY GOD,
 

DID THE Grand Covenant see victory at the Siege of Anthill and the subsequent eradication of any venomous Stassionite presence within the Heartlands, their lands now seized by the Kingdom of Aaun. As such it is by right of conquest that the Kingdoms of Aaun, Petra and Balian, hereafter referred to as “the signatories”, lay claim to all titles squandered by Stassionites in the regrettable past.

Thus, the following is decreed:

I. THAT the signatories agree that the Duchies of the Lowlands and Vienne and any titles deemed to have been held by vassals of Stassion such as the Barony of Blanchet that are not mentioned otherwise shall go to the Crown of Aaun to do with as they please, recognized as rightfully theirs in perpetuity.

II. THAT the signatories agree that the Duchy of Furnestock, falsely claimed and stolen by the Stassionites, shall be formally dissolved so as to lay the history of the title to rest in respectful manner.

III. THAT the signatories agree that the Margraviate of the Westermarch and Principality of Stassion shall go to the Crown of Petra to do with as they please, recognized as rightfully theirs in perpetuity.

IV. THAT the signatories agree that the Principality of Providence, Duchies of Lorraine, Helena and Sunholdt, as well as the County of Pompourelia and Barony of Renzfeld shall go to the Crown of Balian, recognized as rightfully theirs in perpetuity.

V. THAT the signatories agree that any who harbor those of Stassion that have not surrendered their arms, submitted themselves to the Mother Church for penance and continue to falsely lay claim to any claimed titles shall be considered as having cut any and all political ties with their respective nations.

Fr. Jean traveled back to the Marchlands to pin the edict on the noticeboard by his Governorate's office, amidst the ruins of Freddieburg. He hadn't seen the decorations placed by his underlings, and thus couldn't have known that suspicious street urchins wandering about were defacing them. He still smacked one atop the head with his cane for good measure, and ordered ten Stassie civilians hanged for some perceived offense, presumably loitering or existing.

"Dearest brother, Your Excellency, a birdie has told me that the Stassie's have at last fled Fredericksburg - surely in fear of your retribution for their innumerable crimes. This should make the eviction and displacement process of the anthill and its huts much easier for you. T."

LITTLE JADWIGA OF WARSOVIA, in her pursuit to find the beast of Whitespire, passed a board that the missive was pinned to. Despite not understanding most of it, she still knew of what had been happening within her homelands. She pointed towards the missive and laughed manically:

Her laugh turned into a fit of choking, accidentally swallowing her own spit, before barreling over. In her embarrassment did Jadwiga scamper off, though still chuffed, chanting over-and-over again.
