In light of the red spirit sometimes known as ‘Leer’ or ‘Kowmun’ the Rex of the Urukhim feels it necessary to make the following announcements regarding the position of the Horde.

TO THOSE WHO SOUGHT LANDS BUT ARE NOW MAGICALLY PREVENTED. THE HORDE SHALL, BY THE WORD OF THE REX:

 

⇀Offer existing land or purchase new land for these now-orphaned peoples

⇀Assist materially and financially in the ‘payste’ ritual conducted by the mysterious red spirit ‘Hogojo’

⇀Offer vassalship or independence depending on the interest of the orphaned peoples

⇀Protect the orphaned peoples from raids and guarantee their sovereignty while they establish themselves

 

THE LANDLESS PEOPLES MUST, BY THE WORD OF THE REX:

 

⇀Speak to the REX in person and not in the DISCORDIAN PSYCHIC REALM

⇀Agree to acknowledge the borders and sovereignty of the Horde

⇀Refrain from attacking or banditing the Horde or its allies

 

FURTHERMORE, IN LIGHT OF THE ‘PEEAROH’ MAGIC, A MAGIC WHICH IS SEEN AS ANTITHETICAL TO FUN HAVING THE HORDE SHALL, BY THE WORD OF THE REX:

 

⇀Allow wandering and landless peoples to erect tents and firepits within Hordelands

⇀Allow the wandering and landless peoples free movement through the lands which belong to the Horde (the southern desert)

 

THE HORDE WILL ACCEPT DONATIONS FROM THOSE WHO WISH TO EXPAND FREEBUILDISM

AI intend to achieve two things with this post. Firstly, if you have an RP niche and need a lair or a small settlement for your RP niche, as you ABSOLUTELY CANNOT coexist with others. Even if it is some type of evil darkspawn shit. I will allow you to use Horde land for that purpose. I agree with realms being closed but I still think it should be possible for people to get land. If you just want a small manor plot or a whole tile come speak to me RPly and we will arrange it. If I am not online send me a bird. I am usually online around 7pm est - 9pm est. If I am not online ask @Hermit_Jack or @BakedPotato or @olpx or @_Jandy_ to relay a message / get me online.

If your rp niche is some variety of darkspawn or magic related thing that the orcs will not rply accept. Do not approach me rply, just send me a dm on the forums, an ooc letter in game, or dm me when I am online. I'll get your lair set up immediately. The obvious condition is just, do not let me find out or hear about it IRP as my character is a fairly orthodox orc when it comes to his RP opinions on darkspawn.

 

Finally, I really really don't like the PRO system. I think the region system in general chokes rp dynamism to death, and the fact that I have a dictatorial authority over all sub regions in my nation is insane. It really puts a damper on how sub groups of the Horde such as Aluria, Book-tribe, Sulianopolis or the Orcish clans are able to rply push back against things that I do. It also really puts a damper on general rp dynamism since everyone including ST require permission from me to do LITERALLY ANYTHING.

 

The enjoyment of LOTC for me derives from the dynamism of collaborative storytelling with hundreds and hundreds of people I have never spoken to and probably will never speak to. The region and PRO system cucks that dynamism extremely hard. I can't change the mind of staff or change the rules or anything. However, I do happen to be PRO of a fairly large LOTC nation :>.

 

With this in mind I am going to be tentatively declaring all Hordeland freebuild and giving blanket approval for minor-medium modifications / events / griefs etc. If you would like to be added to a Horde tile you may show staff this post and so long as I am NL / do not change this post it will be sufficient evidence of approval. Bear in mind that RP consequences will be very much alive in Hordelands. If you start randomly building without RP permission / respect to the Orcs you will probably be killed. If you are found griefing etc you will probably be killed. I also ask that you exercise a degree of reasonableness with this policy, do not dig rat tunnels throughout hordelands, do not use build perms to grief out forts or defences etc.

If this experiment is abused I will unfortunately have to withdraw my blanket approval.

The goal here is absolute maximal RP dynamism and content. I do not need my PRO-Nation Leader ego stroked, I need interesting stories and dynamic player driven events. Looking forward to seeing what people make of this policy.
