In the darkness of a great hall, lit only by a dim fireplace, a sword is sharpened. Sparks light up a dark elf's face, scorned by many enemies, and ready to take her revenge. Reading the missive, she chuckles, a vicious smile spread across her face.

"Now, things are gettin interestin." A laugh echoes through the hall, a sword glinting in the moonlight.

"They are reforming the Flays it seems... I doubt they even hold true to Augustus' vision"

Estevot grinned as he read this at his office in Vortice. It was always good to see Canonism expand, and he did like Silasia as a nation. He prayed to the Lord that the Church would see that Vortice and the halflings are not enemies of the Church, and did not wish for war. If they truly hated Canonism that much, Estevot wouldn't be where he is today. He is living proof that they do not have to be enemies.
