THE FINAL ACT

A MESSAGE TO VORTICE

“Where does the blood of VIKEL flee if not to the North? And upon their tails- the Wolf of Lurak.”

 

The demands laid before you are of the coalition of Honest States, Cannonist Leaders, and the Vicar of God. Refusal to agree to these demands will result in death and destruction. Heed them well citizens of the Monkey Mountains, lest your disgraceful lives be given to forfeit.

DENY the demands and the Holy March will continue.

 

ARTICLE I: THE  SURRENDER OF ARMS

All soldiers of Vortice will lay down their weapons, any soldiers caught disobeying orders will be in violation of the article and therefore slain.

 

ARTICLE II: SUBJUGATION TO GOD

Vortice will be abolished as a sovereign nation, their people’s individual determination being left in the hands of the Holy Church of Canon to administer as regents; a governorship will be placed upon the land from which the Vorticians will subscribe.

 

ARTICLE III: PAYMENT OF JIZYAH

Vorticians will be relocated into their main sector province, their vast lands which lay mostly uninhabited will no longer be ruled by petty Lordlings as they will be forced to centralize. Under this management they will pay a yearly tax to the Holy See, a tithe “Jizyah” to continue mostly uninterred with customs deemed agreeable.

 

ARTICLE IV: CONSTRUCTION OF THE HOLY MOUNT

The Vorticians will deliver regular supplies to the Holy See and the army of Lurak to construct shrines upon the most Holy Mount.
