Upon reading the missive, Father Marc delivered the following remarks:

"The unconditional surrender of the Kingdom of Haense is a powerful reminder that even in challenging times, decisive actions can lead to change and open doors for so many new opportunities for all mankind.

As can be observed in the missive, His Majesty the King of Burgundy cares about human unity and it’s inspiring to see such a focus on bringing the sons of Horen together!

Ave Burgundy! Ave Imperium!"

An armored corpse moves through the lands of Aveos, lost in grief and pain. It has long forgotten why. The echoes of the past he had long left behind rang through his corrupted mind—a great war, two emperors, he had given his life... no, he had been betrayed! His name, he had a name.

He could still see a crown, crested with a blue jewel above all the rest, a crown. . . he once wore.

"Marius. . ." That was his name. And Kingdom. . . he once ruled seemed like a fading light; he couldn't see it anymore. But it was only a memory now.

1 minute ago, Gandhi said:

A young boy of dark hair and green eyes wailed in the confines of his room. He reached furiously for a dusty circlet on a desk..

An older, fatter boy, of brown hair and blue eyes stared up at the larger hall in the distance. He thought of the young boy, and he frowned. He made a promise to himself, then, which would prove to be unwavering.

Calias Mareno smiled to himself, recalling a distant memory of some sort kind. It was a chess game, as noted in some distant history as belonging to one of his ancestors and Olivier Renault... "What was it he said again?" He asked THE SKIPPER, vaguely.

"This est nicht the Haense that ich fought unter a banner wit' against Veletz." Remarked an elderly alchemist of Reinmaren descent, disgusted by the weakness shown by his former liege lords. Thusly, Klaus von Berkhoven threw his copy of this surrender into a fire and slowly walked off to finish some chores. His aged visage bore a look of extreme disappointment. "Haense rested far too long on its laurels, so it was only a matter of time before the rust set in."

A Paladin of Youth gasps from afar as he is delivered the news by raven. He would pack up his things and head back South,
As there would be no peace.

Holy Ser Barend De Ruyter couldn't help but pray to his LORD GOD for forgiveness. Although his order had not partaken in the war, he begged for forgiveness for the Canonist souls he had failed to protect and failed to save. The Good Templar couldn't be everywhere at once, but he blamed himself regardless "Blessed be the Lord my strength which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight, My Goodness, and my Fortress; My high tower, and my deliverer; My shield, and he in whom i trust; Who subdueth my people under me... Which people now are returned unto ye... Amen."
