Jihnyny 5233 Share Posted June 10, 2025 honestly i think the issue is alot of characters PK'd due to the war and with the map announced like 6-5 months before its released it killed alot of players hype to do something and build upon something new due to the shadow of being unable to complete it or having been forced to put it on pause due to map move. 𝕾𝖙𝖆𝖗𝖌𝖚𝖘𝖍 2451 Share Posted June 10, 2025 I was initially planning to wait for a fresh start once the map changed, but factors beyond my control have affected my experience here. The niche of role-play that I prefer has lost its appeal to new players, as OOC preferences have taken precedence over lore cultures. While there may be potential for Human role-play in the next map, I find myself stepping away from the game largely due to a lack of activities provided. Some might attribute this to aging out of the enjoyment of Minecraft, but I disagree; I still find vanilla Minecraft survival fun with more activities and functions than the RP server. My issue lies in the fact that LoTC lacks meaningful content or player agency unless it's offered by the staff. Nothing I do right now feels like it matters, I assume the map end event is this weird chromeweaver thing that is running around eating nations. Big snooze on that tbh. Not a fan of rail road events that you can't really impact or influence. Horde as a nation is super checked out atm as we wait for next map, we have been grinding big multiplayer zomboid and valheim in our discord.
