As a man of common origin, I am no stranger to the struggle of the labouring man; from toiling the fields to then becoming a blacksmith's apprentice I have laboured in all manner to take care of my household, and with the difficulty our people have faced I have also endevoured to keep our way of life alive. Not through scholarly treatises but instead through practical techniques and methods carried on for generations among Silasians.

 

As the representative of the folk around Berzyn, it would be my duty to ensure that the interests of not only of our smallfolk are kept in mind but also that of those in other constituencies, as the labours and struggles of man are the same everywhere. (122 words)

I am the Grandson of one of the Leal vassals of the Archduchy, and am wholeheartdly dedicated to service to, and representation of, my constiuents. Being Alderman I already canvass my Burough, learn of concerns, issues, and report them to the City Council in the due course of my duties. I would be an excellent candidate to represent the Borough's residents in an Imperial Assembly; well poised to convey information, present ideas, and accurately promote the whims and wishes of my polity.

My vested daily interest is in the well-being of its denizens and the upkeep of its interior to better serve both the city of Saint Godwinsburg and the Archduchy of Alba. Thus far, I have made several necessary renovations to various thoroughfares to better improve the functions of Welles in relation to serving its residents, and have also assisted the Treasury of Alba in minting the coins used to collect the archducal tax.

With my election as Folkman of Welles, I would pray I am afforded the opportunity to further represent the interests of my borough as a seated member of the Imperial Assembly.

I was raised in a family devoted to the Emperor’s service, and their example continues to inspire me to give my utmost for the prosperity and strength of our realm.

I am an engaged resident of Tarnavon, and a faithful man, despite the fact that I spend much of my time absorbed in more scholarly matters within my residence. You see, I am a historian and a philosopher, and I have devoted much of my recent years to the study of Ayrikiv history, and am hoping to continue my delvings into this with additions to the compilations of history made by Duke Eirik ‘Lack-Sons’! I do believe that my knowledge of Ayrikiv culture and history makes me a prime candidate to represent the people of Tarnavon appropriately and with the dignity they deserve.

 

Furthermore, I mingle much with the people of Tarnavon, often tending to the bar, or bearing witness to the political discussions of the Alderhall, which I believe has contributed greatly to my understanding of the interests of the people of Tarnavon, as well as my understanding of the political process

Additionally, I preside over our local town council, moderating debate and interfacing with the local residents on key issues relating to zoning, agriculture, and public safety. In just two years, my tenure has seen an exponential growth in commerce and cultural diversity in our town. Given my record as a master legislator with a strong following in Tarnavon, I intend to bring this experience as a worthy representative of the constituency’s interests in the Imperial Assembly.

Even during this time, I urged cooperation with what was then the Pontifical States. I fought against the McCannon Bandit Insurrection in the War in the Lowlands, on behalf of Alba and the Pontifical states. Following a tumultuous period of uncertainty prior to the war of crown and crozier, I returned to what had now become the Kingdom of Burgundy and enlisted in the Royal Burgundian guard. Then, into the Imperial Guard of the Empire of Man. I have been a steadfast and loyal ally to the Empire and all of its predecessors for my entire life, and I know I can speak for and represent my fellow soldiers and all the others who live around the City of Rittersberg. Just as I did for my constituents as a senator all those years ago.
