Yep.. We could actually try to fix these problems, instead of sitting around saying we are going to. I propose we have an organized meeting over TS directed at this issue. Only those who have something well thought out to contribute and those who hold a position of power should be allowed to speak. And by well thought out, I mean a small written document of ideas or better yet, one idea that is sent to the presiding member of the meeting, who will then give them the password to the temp TS channel? I definitely have a few ideas that I would love to see implemented soon. After we've dealt with these OOC issues, we should continue the meeting in game to discuss the reconstruction of the city, social centers, etc. Anyone up for this? What time would be good for everyone?

Anyone up for me starting "The Karik Improvement Commity" in the Dwarven RP section?

We should expand the first section. Where the market and entertainment districts are, into a large enough area for socialization, taverns, market stalls etc. the main problem with Karik is there is seemingly no reason for interaction. This seems to have been caused by a chain of hostile events that had a domino effect on the population, seeming to start with the exile of the ironguts. That seemed to be the inciting moment for population decrease as the ironguts are a large chunk of dwarves. Then the hostilities between clans and the death of Thorik hasn't made anything better either.

The main issue is that there seems to be complaints about population and no identification of the problem nor reasons that would fix the problem. Only threads saying "get back to Karik!" appear to be popping up. If we really wish for a solution to the problem then I suggest a TS meeting of all active dwarved. We will go down the TS list in terms of idea exchange so there isn't any fighting or interruptions. After which we will vote for our favorite ideas. We make announcements over forums of our decisions and there can't be any possible complaints because we have all decided what is best for our dwarven RP

A TS meeting would be beneficial to us all. And right now people are working on creating a Paragon Square which is going to be a hub of activity.

We're not? There is a new dwarf every week and our population rivals that of Renatus at this point. The problem is we're very spread out. Our race isn't dying, just our capital city.

Seems some panicing about Holm. I'll make a post about this but even though Holm is a Dwarven city, we do not have ANY sort of relation ship with them, and there will NOT be one seeing as Holm helped Renatus in the fight of Das Boot.

It's down to more like two Dwarves in Holm. They are barely a Dwarven settlement now

The men from Holm were probably acting independantly from the nation. Still choose the alliances as you feel fit
