A Murder In The Streets

*Reads carefully, analyzing the situation*

She is not a witch, nor a bad ruler. All of you would most likely fail at ruling Salvus...

Just like all rulers, Dawn is being overwhelmed by the excessive stress from ruling a nation and the bunch of wankers most of you are.

A good nation defined by 3 aspects:

1- A good ruler.

2- It's people.

3- It's principles.

I've been living in Salvus for 20 years now, all I've seen is Botar running around from place to place, trying to keep the hospital running and people healthy, fighting the bandits, doing tax work and helping his friends.

Dawn is either busy talking with other nation leaders, dealing with those stupid, self-focused "Psychos", organizing the Peacekeepers and yelling at the people in charge of the city while she is gone.

One thing is obvious, the peacekeepers don't work as they should. That's because YOU PEOPLE DON'T BLOODY COOPERATE.

If everyone followed the rules, or at least tried to, we wouldn't have violence.

If you followed the peacekeepers' words: "Salvus is closed until further notice" without questioning, instead of showing everyone a way in by jumping on the walls, MAYBE they would be able to keep the bandits, who you just got inside, out of the city.

All this issue regarding violence, corruption and the likes, is nothing but the very proof of your lack of cooperation, comprehension, and your immense ignorance regarding what it takes to run a nation.

My experience allows me to tell you forcing Dawn to step down will only make things worse, and turn Salvus into a deserted city.

If what you want is the Peacekeepers to be analyzed and fixed, as well as getting some mayor and minor problems solved, do what I did in Aegis. I rubbed those issues, no matter how small they were, which had the potential to turn into something big, all over my Ex-Wife's face, formerly known as High Princess Indelwehn. It got me banished, but the problems were fixed, and people were happy...Which at the end, is all that matters.

"As for you." He turns to Vance. "You and your companions are criminals and bandits. Your group, Vance, Prince, and so on... Lucas told me of you. You want Dawn to stay in power because you know she will do nothing to stop you. Well, we will do something to stop you."

*Turns back towards Lorethos and chuckles slightly at his comment.*

"And you would trust the word of Lucas, a wanted murderer and bandit, himself? If you are acquainted with Lucas, as you appear to suggest, this only makes your cause less legitimate. If you'd have actually been living in Salvus, you'd have known that he regularly terrorised the citizens here."

Lorethos smirks.

"I am acquainted with Lucas. I have never let him harm an innocent in my presence, and I have killed him when he tried. You and your "gang" will soon follow the same consequence if a path of redemption is not sought.

As for the people's supposed lack of cooperation. I am astounded you think it is their fault. The people need a good ruler, and things need to be reorganized and rebuilt.

Dawn refused when we asked for these things, so we asked her to step down. If she does not, she is condemning Salvus selfishly, and I will not let that happen."

*approaches the group noticing Vance being questioned

How dare you say that this town is run by bandits. I just risked my life everyday to kill Lucas's agents that were taking over Salvus and you dare call me a bandit now? How dare you, you inbred *******. Why don't you take your petty threats else where fool, before you get an arrow in the head.

Raising his staff silently, he pushes Eryl back into the crowd with the head of it.

Don't do anything foolish, human. Although, I'm certain, if you did, the peacekeepers would just sit and watch....

He chuckles for a moment, lowering his staff and glancing back at the crowd of mixed minds.

Hm, it seems Dawn does not care about us. Why doesn't she come out of her palace and speak like a wise leader should, she is a coward it seems.

Hawk silently leans on the walls of Salvus, hidden by the shadows, noticed by none. He watches the chaos and uproar, chuckling a little to himself. He doesn't bother to get a flyer, seeing that Joseph had already gotten and kept one. Hawk mentally reminds himself to go get a copy from the scribe. Hawk thinks to himself;

"Tipped their hand too early. Much too early. They didn't even find out how much support they had in secrecy before tipping their hand."

Hawk remembers the Renatus rebellion, which had started in secrecy, amassing its supporters and finding its enemies. It worked out perfectly, with even the dwarfs helping. If these Salvus rebels are smart, they would be well advised to go seek out some of the original revolutionaries from Renatus for some help and advice, maybe even some supplies and men.

Hawk takes one last glance at the situation and silently slips away, headed towards Arethor.

Hmm, I do think It's time for some new blood, and if this incident is true, there's no other choice. I'm tempted to bring my guild into this matter, but my guildmembers' political view is their own. Yet, if I hear about more mistreatment, there will be consequences for the current government.

Sign me up!

*Sits on the grass in his iron armor, listening to what everyone has to say before rising, and trudging out of the gates. Muttering to himself;*

"Perhaps It's time to gather my brothers, and end the people's troubles for them...Dawn must have some diamonds stashed away somewhere!"

*chuckles*

*Vance sighs a little as he continues to watch over the commotion.*

"How far are you truly willing to go before you will give up your cause? Will you spill the blood of those loyal to Dawn, even innocents, in order to achieve your goals? Suggesting that anybody would be more fit to rule than her is a ridiculous notion and one that I simply cannot understand. Perhaps instead of demanding she step down and introduce a new system, you should be spending your time helping those who have lost property due to the recent storms. The course you are taking is helping nobody and is only dividing this nation into two."

*On one of his many trips into Salvus for raw meat Eryndir notices the town littered with fliers. Picking one up he reads it over*

"You don't get a chance to help overthrow a Queen and make history everyday... I will sign this petition, and fight if it comes to it!"

*A man with a long, gray beard walks by upon seeing the crowd. He listens to everyone for quite some time and then raises his voice, almost shouting*

"Oi, you fools! This is how it ended with Oren back in Aegis! A nation that is not united and does not stand together must not call itself a nation! Why don't you learn from the past?!"

*He shakes his head slightly as he is disappointed, wandering off. He then mumbles something inaudible to himself*

"And once again, the fallen one himself will rise, from the ashes like a phoenix. May you all rest at the place you thought you destroyed..."

"There will be no blood shed, but if Dawn is that selfish to keep her throne to herself, then we'll have to use force upon this witch."

*from the top of the barracks towers Tym stands dressed in his armor and watches over the crowd, overhearing the chatter and yelling. He begins to speak to himself far away from the crowd and out of earshot*

"Hmmm.. Lorethos you are determined.. but your deluded vigilance flaws your cause, if there ever were a cause that is." *he would chuckle and begin to think to himself* "He wishes to solve a problem that he is a part of." *Chuckles to himself again as a grin appears on his face, he goes back into thought* "This hypocrisy... this impeccable mindlessness... perfect fools.." *his grin would grow wider as he continues to think* "If only they would be so foolish to force me to solve the problem.." *stares down at the crowd for a moment, his gaze veering to lorethos. Tym would begin to relish his effortless victory over him in combat and start to chuckle as he turns away and walks off into the barracks*

*listens in on the people as they talk and thinks to himself* "If they are so displeased why do they not just go somewhere else?"
