Count Merek Geminine and Baron Aleistor Geminine kneels before the Emperor

Aleistor Geminine speaks: You're majesty, I am sorry to bother you with war on the horizon, but I fear if I do not address it will be to late to reverse. It has recently come to my attention that a prison being built outside my settlement of Simonia. Worse yet this prison will consist only of tents and arenas. Not only will this prison block our route back to Ildon and the rest of the Kingdom, it will the threaten the safety of my citizens and family. Even if we had a way to pass by, which the Imperial Justicar claimed he would try to prevent, we would still see no travel or trade with the threat of escaped prisoners on the horizon.

Merek Geminine nods, then begins to speak: "Indeed, we've had some issues with Ser Lion. He said he would "tax the **** out of us". That is word for word what he said to our guard Malen, and young Kathryn Geminine when they tried to pass through the desert from Ildon. Ser Lion also threatened to kill Malen and Kathryn. Aiming a long ranged weapon at the two."

Aleistor Geminine says "I fear for my family's safety."

Merek Geminine continues "Yes, of course, but we still respect your needs for a prison. We were hoping we could compromise. Settle an agreement between Simonia and the prison, or perhaps have it moved to a suitable location that will suffice both parties' needs."

Merek and Aleistor await the Emperor's response.

(After approval by them: We have the support of both the Chivays and their White Roses and Artorus Elendil in this matter as they both feel they will be affected negatively by this prison)

*Nods to Merek and Aleistor, then directs his

gaze to the Emperor. "Your Majesty, they speak the truth. I find it in the

Empires best interest to give the land to someone else. I also wish to have him

removed from the Inquisitors, for he explained to me in full detail in Arethor

the other day, he does not do this for God, he only does this to kill innocents.

He can not continue to ruin Arethor and the rest of Oren, I find it in your best

interest to relieve him of command of the Lion Chapter, strip him of his

position as Inquisitor and Imperial Justice." Artorus returns back to his spot

and awaits the Emperor's judgement.

Alexander looks at Artorus, and closes his eyes tight before standing and looking at him

"Dearest uncle, I am shamed further you did not ask me about this. Being High Inquisitor you should have asked me. Lion was chosen as an Inquisitor to allow him to prosecute the laws without having the Grand Knight restrain him.

His role as Imperial Justice is so he may now have to worry about he church getting in his way. As much as we hate what he does it is vital to the kingdom...

Even as much as I hate it, he is in his place just as you are yours, and I soon shall be in mine"

Alexander says these last words as if to fear a coming future, or to fear what he does not know

He returns to his spot quietly, still awaiting his father's answer from before, head bowed

*Looks to his nephew with fire in his eyes "You need to know Alexander, he is not in his right place...There is no use for Ser Lion other then to piss more people off and drive them from our side. The longer he is in power, the longer we are doomed."

* A man in greyed, scratched armour clanks in. A torn shield and a split sword hang at his waist. As he limps toward the throne, he removes his helm and kneels before the king wearily. *

Your Grace, I have returned. When you sent me out to earn my knightship in the far-lands all those years before, I had my doubt about ever seeing the throne again,. My bannermen, few as they were, have mostly perished from hunger and disease. My squire remains in Glenwood after contracting the plague, and only I, Venard Bayon a Knight of the King, has made it back here to report once more to you.

* Venard lifts his head and looks at the king for the first time. He seems perplexed. *

You are not the King who sits that throne, you are not . . .Enor?

A messenger enters the throne room and bows before the king. "My liege, I have come from Ildon bearing the will of Ser Athirius Owl", says the messenger. He takes a scroll from his satchel, and begins to read aloud. "The last will and testament of Ser Athirius the Shield of houses Owl and Silverblade, Lord Commander of the Imperial Dragon Guard of Oren, to be kept in the safe hands of Thorenir Elendil the second, until death. 'In the event of my passing from this world to the next, I wish for my body to be cremated and buried in the forest outside Ildicia, as my forefather's bodies were cremated and buried within a forest close to Al'Khazar'", the messenger turns over the scroll to the next part, "'To my godson Thorenir Elendil the second, I leave my land holdings (the county of Ildicia), the sword of house Owl, my armor, and permission to take the name Owl as his own if he ever finds himself wanting to leave house Elendil as his father has on numerous occasions. I leave my position as Lord Commander of the Dragon Guard to Ser Aryon. -A.O'", the messenger rolls up the scroll and places it back in his sachel and produces a second one, "Ser Athirius later made this addition to his will, 'Thorenir Elendil II may only take my land holdings if he allows for them to be used by my cousin, Bauldry Owl, at any time he wishes. I also leave all un-listed items of my belonging to my cousin. -A.O'". The messenger rolls up the scroll, stows it into his sachel, and awaits the emperor's answer.

*Walks into the Throne Room a couple of months after his last visit, and kneels to the king*

"My lord, i have been told of promotion, a ceremony, before i left on my voyage, i have returned, to find no word of either of those two. I would like to know, has the promotion been swept from under my feet, or is it still coming my way? I will continue my long service in the knight hood, but i must know"

*With that he go's to the side and hopes he is given a reply*

* A well dressed man, With a fine Waistecoat, trousers, and shirt, with a suitable Golden bracelet strides in, very much emitting an air of...Serenity, not a sense of "Holier than thou", but Definitely not ready to stoop to any king. The thing that would set the fellow apart from most Well dressed city residents, is a large unruly beard, combined with unruly hair. The fellow, if anyone could catch a whiff, smells strongly of Pine, and the Freshest air.

Greetings, King Godfrey. I will greet you as an Equal man, ignoring the segregation of Title, Wealth, and position in this flawed world, which we reside in. I come seeking audience to discuss a minor land agreement. I would suppose this sort of thing is "Far below you", and definitely not for a subject, but I do think you could do well do ponder at my offer. I would grant you Political Claim to the lands I reside on, a very successful Orchard in the Mountains of Menorcress, the Wilds. I would not serve you, bow to your whims, But I would offer you full and complete access to my lands. In return, I would simply ask you ponder what the great difference is between People. Your kingdom is very...prejudiced towards folks, very badly so in your Capital city, Arethor. Whenever I come here with my Gardener, An ork, he is quite badly shunned. He is the very same as every other man, and I would request your court open their minds to new ideas. Elves, Orks, Humans, and Dwarves. We all think, talk, and breath. What matters the way we talk, or the way we look? On this note, I shall await your response, or what the Court writes out for you.

Oren Naval Lt James Soulstorm draws his Officers Cutlas and points it to the man, 6 enlisted men go to remove him from the court room

"None are equal to His Imperial Majesty, Emperor Godfrey I, ruler of The Holy Oren Empire. Soldier, take this man from the court for his blatant disrespect for the Emperor.

Maybe after 30 lashings he will take a knee to the Emperor. Remove him and lash him"

The six enlisted men grab the disrespectful man and drag him from the courts to the rustling posts for proper punishment

Abdul Mudee enters the Throne Room, his attire is of fine silk robes and woolen cloth. Abdul speaks to the Scribe giving him his name and purpose. Abdul presses forward towards the Emperor, when he finally is before him he kneels and speaks.

"Your Imperial Majesty, I am Abdul Mubdee, Horseman of Ildon and Ager and I come to you today to speak of political matters, specifically the matters of Solace. I am afraid to report to you that Solace has been neglected. In my recent days I have visited the city and I have seen all but prosperity; the city is known as a market city, but it seems only to have one shop that actively trades, the city runs ramped with thieves and assassins and the guard can not protect its own people or even its own Lord, and the city has few inhabitants. This 'neglection' must come to an end."

"The reason Solace can not prosper is because it lacks leadership. Lord Aron has neglected his city, he has not been in it for weeks, I hope not that the Lord died and this is the reason for his absence, but this problem has been ongoing even before his disappearance. I wish to quell the city's problems, by reinvigorating its economy, bringing help to better train its guard force to deal with the thieves and in turn creating a safe city with a thriving economy that attracts people to it. I am by all means qualified to do this as well, I am a businessman and understand how to attract men and women to purchase my products as well as I have served under and closely observed how Lord Artorus and Lord Therving lead their towns. Now, I could go on about my plan on how to tend to the city's problems as I have a plan of action with me, but I wish not to bore you Your Imperial Majesty, unless you wish to hear it. Hear me out though, I wish for Lord Aron to be removed and for myself to be appointed as Lord of Solace."

"I stand before you alone Your Imperial Majesty, but Lord Throdo Therving himself has vouched for me to become Lord of Solace and perhaps Lord Artorus, however I have yet to receive word back from him. Your Majesty, do you wish for me to go on and present my full plan to you or shall you make your decision?"

Abdul stays kneeled before the Emperor, awaiting his response.

(( I'm not the lord of the city, i am the lord of my household. I am the chancellor, so you may want to either change "lord" to "chancellor" or "Aron" to "king James"))
