Ny reasoning is I'm just bores with this map. We are too spread out and beyond the point to fix it without making many people unhappy.

I personally, agree with Hiebe. The community just isn't a tight niche anymore. Everyone would rather create a town then live in one, and I'm not an exception to that. I think the mods need to find a way to stop that.

Theres a big poblem with this map we have. There is too much land. If there is a ton of land there will be a ton of cities or towns. I think each race should at the top only have two cities and the map just needs to be a little smaller so that way you don't find about 56 cities and only 2 people live in all of them. The bigger the map the more spread out rp will be! If you know what I mean. A good size map is important. Just can't be to big otherwise the server doesn't have enough people.

Speaking of sizes.... There's no need to post in one so big.

I see all these suggstions of 'condensing' the main races...i dont like it.

i think that the elves, the dwarves, the orcs and the humans need and deserve a seperate kingdom, but that isnt to say that i dont belive we are too spread out at the moment [its like a 30+ minute trip from any of the major kingsdoms and thats assuming you dont die from hunger or something too many times]. As it is the idea of the humans and elves co-existing in one city struggles RP wise due to their cultural, religious, class, tax and archtechtural [its like 12 at night, give me a spelling break] differences - and the idea of the dwarves and the orcs living together? laughable.

As for the additional races, well at least the mori and the kajyer..kahjyr...cat people this is how i see it.

The cat people are way too populer to be dine away with - espeially after having fought so hard for so long with such dedication to get to where they are. What may perhaps be a possibility is that they are "adopted" by the human cities - much in the way that the kahjit in the elder scrolls are spread throught most of the other provinces.

The mori hold a special spot for me as they are the true DARK elves and i am myself preparing for an attempt to join them. I think one of the major isseus that have faced them and have led to the number of mori players is the extremely strict entry requirements and rp limitations and ontop of this the fairly...removed..existence they have for most of the time, so perhaps a review of them is needed or a disaster that is great enough for them to rejoin their long lost families among the greater elven populace.

but this is all my 10 cents and thats probably not what its even worth.

Rather then having one race per nation, can't we have multiracial nations or even some races without nations? Also with the multiverse mines, the admins can get a map of theworld and designate areas as gold fields, coal fields, rich in iron, etc then we can have resource wars!

I agree with Bipolar, nations should be able to have multiple species

As for the situation for Mining worlds I agree with. The idea to Rply mine can help incase we don't have Multiverse which I have tried long ago. Unfortunately it's very difficult since I had multiple tasks. Basically to Rply mine it would be an organized manner, which gives more jobs and more RP for people. I have a link to this but please don't post in them for they are very old posts. These can give you an idea to help with the mining situation.

^ This is rather quite old so please don't post in them. Also this Rp mining can apply to all nations I decided to make this for mostly dwarves at the time since Mining is a big part of Dwarf culture.

(( hold on while I get the links...Done!))

^ Much older link.

Basically this Rp minnig can stop alot of 1x1 shafts in mines and especially X-Rayers who exploit mines almost all the time. Also this Rp mining can help bring down fluctuations in the economy.

The only problem I see with having too many people in one massive city is that it might create a bit of chat spam and lag. I recall that in certain events that involve a lot of players, that it becomes very confusing to what exactly is going on.

Yeah, but it's better than struggling to find one person to RP with...

Yeah, but it's better than struggling to find one person to RP with...

We have vastly differing opinions on that.

I would like to see a happy medium between the two. Lots of people RPing in the same area can be very confusing and hard to follow because of the large amount of chat messages, and often ruins the roleplay. But on the other hand having small cities means that it is very hard to find RP, especially if you are in a different timezone to the people in the city, or you don't keep in regular contact with them oocly.

I'd like to have very few towns and cities, and more dungeons and mysterious things.

If there's too many chat messages we could possibly make the regular chat's distance lower.

I also wish to mention a benefit to having the multi-verse world. Not only will this make mines more dangerous (You can buff enemies in them perhaps? Increase spawn rates? Regardless, it would make working in groups more enjoyable), but you can change what sort of materials generate. Perhaps there are lucrative 'diamond' mines that have higher rates of diamonds, a very good reason to fight and wage war over such a resource. This could also fix issues of material saturation in the economy, admins can tweak how much can be found in either location to increase or decrease the ammount of iron/coal/emerald, etc that is found.

Just some some opinions, don't kill meh.

1. I believe that we do need to leave Asulon because of the spread RP and the lack of a tight player base of the like we had an Aegis. I really do like the idea of having to RP getting a town/village from a king/ruler. The king wouldn't allow the charter unless it meant some sort of personal gain for him, so it would enhance difficulty and realism.

2. Danny's map is simply..... beautiful. It provides an accurate range of distance between each race. On the note of each races choosing to adapt or not, make them! If we are moving to a new world Rp'ly, then everything isn't going to go perfect for each race. Maybe the kharajyr won't have an isolated forest to hide into and they HAVE to make peace with a race. Maybe the orcs don't have a perfect desert for them, and they have to live in a harsh biome rather then the desert.

3. I hope if we move to a new map, everything will be more real. Farmers will have to be taxed by the king and give a certain percentage of wheat to the king. Lumberjacks will have to give some of the wood to their king for building and renovations etc.

4. I strongly advise adding custom API to enhance role play. Having a dagger/short-sword/horse would be one of the interesting things ever!

5. Each race should have ONE main kingdom. Please don't hate me for making a Game of Thrones reference, but each main kingdom should be like "Kings Landing" in a sense. The city should have everything. There is a separate part of town for each social class and guild. You would be seperated from people who aren't in your economic state, making it easier for you to relate to people, and brainstorm ideas.

Just some of my quick thoughts~
