Meren nods with a smile touching the book absentmindedly "Seems I have many trials ahead in my future Vallel. I will look into finding some muscle for the things we need" She smirks slightly "Always a way to get what I want" She wipes the smirk from her face keeping it impassive she taps the table lightly "I'll come by later and bring Iheiuh as well as the book" As she watches Vallel leave she opens the book again reading through it to make sure it contains all it needs.

Vallel comes into the guild hall the next day and post something new on the wall.

"Dear guild members, it seems we have an open spot due to unforeseen circumstances within the guild for magic adviser on the council.  If anyone that is skilled in magic (Tier 2 and above)  would like to join the Council please sign your name and details about why you want the  position, your skills and talents and you'll be asked to show what you can do at a later date.  "

"Just a reminder the other spot is still open for fellow ash members who wish to be on the council.  Currently we have a few members who have shown an interest in it. I will formally close this offer down shortly ((Friday 4/12/13))  .

Meren walks into the guild hall later that day just to check if anything new has happened. She reads the new note posted onto the board tapping her finger against her lips. "Hmm" She shrugs slightly as she finishes reading the note, with a slight shrug of her shoulders she turns on the ball of her foot and makes her way out of the guild hall.

MC User Name: Pinsir99

In Game Name: Vierna Maerron

Character's Location: Currently in Vaerhaven

Bio: Her history prior to being played

Ever since she was a child she was raised by two loving parents. Her father always wanted a son so when she was old enough to hold a bow he started to teach her to live off the land. For years she would go hunting with her father and her life was a hard but simple life, she enjoyed being around nature most of her life. But then it all changed. After a night of hunting with her father they were attacked. Vierna never had a chance to see the attacker, but she knew that the scream coming from her right was from the death of her father. She ran, like she had never ran before, l knowing that she was the only hope of providing for her mother. She rushed inside the house expecting to see her mother cooking dinner or tanning leather from the the night before's kill, but she was not there. After scrambling over everything in her house try to find her, she found her body. Dead. Her mother and father both dead. She could not believe it. Everything she had known  is gone. She quickly went to grab her father's quarterstaff, which she had become proficient in her short life, from under her father bed, she then quickly scrambled over to her desk, knowing the bandits might not be far behind, she looked quickly to see if any of her fathers books or scrolls had survived the ransacking of her house. All gone but his journal, she quickly grabbed it, grabbed a handful of dried venison and ran out the door, looking for the road her father always told her to stay away from.

She saw a lantern swinging next tot an ox drawn cart. She was not sure that unexpected visitors would be welcome on the dwarvern trading caravan, so she quickly snuck on top of the main wagon and after hours of waiting, finally fell asleep. She was wakened suddenly when she heard a gruff voice speak broken elven, she was barely able to regain her senses when she was tossed to the ground with large metal boot keeping her down. Her limited studies hindered her ability to understand them, but she was able to get a general idea of what they were saying. They thought she was a thief. She tried to explain to them her predicament but they would not listen. After spending a night in what she though was a jail, the was tossed out of what looked like a city, at least what she thought one looked like. She stared mystified by the great city. But she knew she had to go, or risk further confrontation. She started off the other way looking in her pack. They were respectful enough to leave her bow, quarterstaff, and a note. It read "From a friend of the elves", below it there was enough food to last her a trip to the elven city. She started off knowing this luck will not last. She was not hindered by the death of her family, but she wondered if the god her father believed in existed, and if it did, why would it let something like this happen? But she continued, knowing her father would want something better for her. She trudged through rain, snow, and lightning, with the memory of her parents driving her on, never giving up...

And now for the rest: After first arriving in Malinor, she had made friends with many of the druids due to her being a seeker. After having numerous visions of a "Panther" She set out to the islands of the Kha to find one. As soon as she arrived, she was struck by devastating news. The leader had told her the Panther is sacred to Metzti, their goddess, and that it hasn't been seen in many hundreds of years. She continues to look and her search was not useless. She developed a connection with nature she will carry all her life. She then returned to the grove and applied for dedicancy. After a fit of anger, she was denied dedicancy. After having a different view of nature shown to her by the Willow Dryad beneath the grove. Taking what she had learned, she decided that becoming a druid was not her path, and that she will find her path  in time. Vierna continues to live out her life, never having ahome, with her friends being the only driving force to keep her going. Time passed and she tried many differnt thingds. She thought about joining the sentinels for a breif time. It was her first encounter with the roses when her life changed again. During a raid on Malinor by the White Rose, she was attacked and all her possestions stolen. The rose cut her open and left her to die. She was lucky enough to meet someone else, who rushed her to the druids grove. It was there where the High Elf Caelria (Now one of her greatest and closest friends) had helped seal the wound that ran from her armpit to her hit on her left side. After a long time recovering from her wound and from her depressed emotional state, she met Dedicant Gavin. A tall Human who had forsaken his kin's ways to join the druids. They became best friends. They helped eachother and Vierna thought of him as a brother. Gavin felt more feelings for her though. After a brief time of Vierna pretending to love Gavin for his sake, she met Szin Ryzar. Owner of the Shady Sorrow. She stole her heart. After many days of meeting in secret, she became pregnant with Szin's child. Gavin did not know of Her and Szin and things would of continued. Yet Vierna had to end the relationship. After she admitted what she was doing to Gavin, Gavin broke her staff, a gift from him long before they loved eachother. They haven't talked since. This is were Jex comes in. After meeting Jex, she saw that the angry, out of control man could change. She started to talk to him and they became friends. Vierna also became good friends with his guard Elrond and his "relative" Elphaba, also known as Elphie. After Jex approached her one night, asking if they could "spend the night together", she denied him. Jex saw that Vierna and Elrond were becoming good friends and knowing that Elrond also liked Vierna, tried to hurt, or kill him. Vierna tried to stop him unsuccessfully. Jex blackmailed her and told her she would spend the night with him or Elrond would get very hurt. She denied him again and the group consisting of Elphie, Vierna, Elrond, And Talion fled to Vaerhaven to find Vallel. After finding her, She offered Vierna to join the Fallen, a guild of outcasts that wish to help others. And that is where we end up today.

Why do you wish to join this guild: Vierna has always had trouble in her life and with the fact that she will soon have to raise a child, she saw the offer by Vallel a chance to change their lives for the better. Further coerced by the fact that Vallel knew magic and that Elphie was a part of the Fallen.

Your Specialty  : Vierna is exceptional with the bow. She is also a decent in-training healer, taught by the one and only Caelria. She is also very good at convincing people to do what she says, though she rarely does.

Your Combat Focus : Bow, or dagger if she needs.

What is your character Alignment?: Pure Neutral

Skype and teamspeak? : Pinsir99

The cool damp air fills her nostrils as she descends the staircase.  *Clank*  *Clank* *Clank* her staff hits the stones as she mutters something about the stairs.  She stops at the towering statues  guarding the entrance and mutters something as the allow her to pass.

She enters the Main hall and approaches the message board with the applications. She scribbles in the new council members previously elected in the last guild meeting.

"We have two new council members and have already begun work on our next goal. Everyone pay their respect to the following members of the council.

The Fallen Darkness  ~ Elphiaba

The Fallen Shadow  ~ Meren Kazar

"Our first order of business will be to spread word about the Fallen throughout the kingdoms, speak with a council member on how you can help accomplish this task correctly.  We must use caution in this as we do not want to attract the wrong attention. "

Also welcome our newest member: Kindling Vierna when you see her around.

Berdo wanders around the Vaerhaven hold, thinking about what he heard the white rose say earlier. Talk about a strange child and some things about the fallen... He isn't quite sure what all of it means, but he is determined to find out. He suddenly comes across a door which has a sign above it. He squints his eye and it takes a moment for his vision to focus on the letters. *construction* *watch your step* He opens the door and looks inside. He comes across a sign that says jump and looks at what is below it. A pool of water... He jumps thinking the water will break his fall, and lands safely.  He continues along and comes across another sign, but does not read it as his attention shifts to the strange bridge and two statues.  after crossing the bridge he  comes across a strange room. He nears the table that is in the room and reads the signs above it. "Seek and you shall find? What is this....". He decides to wait there and question someone about it when they come by, so he walks to a corner, and sits down. He then proceeds to take out his flint and steel and light his pipe.

Berdo look up to the woman adressing him. He then proceeds to stand up and put the pipe away.
"Hello to you too." He says, and cracks his neck "I was wondering what this place is. It's certanly no wine cellar" He says motioning towards the statues in the other room.

"This is the guild hall for 'The Fallen', sir" Meren motions to the table with the applications "If you wish you may apply there, if not feel free to look around, but I have business to attend to so please excuse me"  She inclines her head to him slightly as she moves to leave.

"Alright..." He says as he watches the woman leave. He then turns his head towards the table and smirks thinking "Why not". He takes out a quill, and rummages trough his pack finding no ink... He then sighs and takes out a hunting knife, and makes a small cut on his finger. He then uses the blood to write a name on the paper.  "Berdo".

Vallel rises from bed early one morning and sends her son to his grammar lessons. She prepares for the long day ahead of her and heads into the guild hall to check on the progress of the workers and check a few things.  She approaches the room with the applications and circle of chairs for meetings.

Berdo prepares to leave the room but stops seeing someone coming. He realises he has a dagger drawn and blood on his hands, and that would raise unwanted suspicion. He quickly hides, hoping he wasn't seen and puts the dagger away in his pack. But he accidentaly left a few blood drops leading from the table to his hiding spot.

Vallel is already aware of his presence when she enters.  She takes any applications for the day and  goes upstairs to go over them.  She mumbels something no one can hear  and then reads the name 'Berdo' written in blood but nothing  else on the paper.  Either he is daft or can't read well.  She looks back at the questions on the parchment all of them blank but his name.  She drops the paper to the ground and turns away.  As it drifts to the ground it catches fire turning to ashes before touching the ground and they blow in the wind "Try better next time Berdo" she says looking directly where he is hiding.
