A large poster hangs on the message boards at docking areas of every race all around Anthos.  The letters are large and bright.

PIRATES - A REAL AND TERRIBLE DANGER

Breaking: Oren naval intelligence operatives have uncovered the existence of an isolated pirate island by the name of King's Port off the coast of the War Uzg uruk capitol (directly to the east of the main gate), complete with mass weapons of war, capable of destroying almost any ship sailing on the seas.  We advise any and all maritime citizens to steer clear of these ships at all cost for risk of death and robbery.

Rewards will be offered for the confirmed execution of any pirate to the Imperial Oren Navy.  Extra will be offered to any pirate captured alive.  Captured pirates will be hanged in public then left to rot.

The punishment for piracy is DEATH.

The Imperial Oren Navy is disclosing these sketches with the intention of keeping the public safe.

Attached hangs a large album of sketches, complete with captions

We have reason to believe their leader is a human male with the first name of "Davey."  Do not interact with any man of this name.  Report him immediately to the authorities.

((To those who are wondering, yes, this information was obtained entirely in RP))

*Rona views the post following her visit to the fair in the capital. Talking to several other dwarves in a joking manner before returning to Dwarven lands.

"Aye pirates? Thank te'creata the umans ave dis elf and his floating pig poop to defend the might empire. If teh be so bad, why no problems yet? Pretteh strong accusation of piracy from a bloodeh elf. He need sit in a wit tree long ears, sea not place for de elves".

Captain Faendal would wonder how someone of whom he has never met could possibly assume that this authorless post was written by him

Jonathan Black rolls his eyes. He had found this out about a month ago. It seemed as though the Oren navy was behind on things.

*Servano of Cove Co. takes a glance at the posters in the elven port. When no one is looking he puts up his hood and starts to take each one down one at a time. He makes his way to all the other ports as well as send a message to Davey.

((wow considering we just had a nice business deal, i feel betrayed :P, also how did you get on the island, the rocks and rapids would have surely destroyed your boat if you had come in RP.

The pirates have a specific way of getting through. Not ranting or anything because you didn't know the rp behind the rocks and rapids.)

While displeased with this latest breach of security, Davey finds himself enthusiastic that the sketches of his fleet had turned out so well.

After receiving Servano's message, the Admiral travels to the capitals to meet with his associates. Within hours, flier boys are running around the streets of Malinor and Salvus - all posting over the previous announcement.

By the law of any common folk of any common nation, prosecuting, and subsequently executing men for crimes not done be a hideous, deplorable and dare I say treasonous breech of law. If this Navy man holds any evidence of my piracy, he may present it to us all or forever bugger off back under his rock.

We be not pirates, but a simple trades company under the flag of East Cove Co. , if this navy wishes to pillage us fer our ships, they be no better then pirates themselves.

-- Admiral 'Davey' Hayes, Captain, Representative, & Fair Merchant of East Cove Co.

Rathen approaches the board and shakes his head, utterly confused and muttering to himself

"What? We've never even raided a vessel... how are we pirates? And how did this fool sail through rapids and destroyed over half of our fleet to find our island? Even more so, we've never called ourselves pirates... Joy, another fool spouting non-sense... We've never even crossed Oren..."

Rathen walks away, shaking his head at the injustice done to him and his fleet.

*Telchar studies the sketches and mutters to himself*

*Scratching his chin he wanders off to Kal'Azgoth to speak with the King*

Rona slightly before leaving posts this message underneath

"Propoganda, Accusations are not facts and the captain violated them with these acts of spying on peaceful merchants. For several human years, I have not witnessed any acts of aggression besides small disputes over land, solved with talking".

*signed with a skull and cross bones.

Although in reality Rona could care less about the parties, and is more concerned about the destabilization it will bring to the Islands.

*A member of the Dwarven Navy attaches a note to the side of the poster and walks off*

A Message to the Oren Navy

Although we could not reach the actual island due to the dangers presented by the rapids and rocksour  scouts were able to study enough of the island by telecope to determine that no visible or obvious signs of piracy was taking place. Any possible piracy that may be taking place can only be that of an individual nature and not an island wide issue.

Thus the Dwarven Armada will not be taking action nor will it be wasting resources on the island when more realistic threats still sail the seas.

Lord Telchar Azaghul

Admiral of the Dwarven Armada
